DELSU Acceptance Fee / Clearance Documents 2025/2026 [UPDATED]

The management of Delta State University (DELSU), Abraka has released important information regarding the payment of acceptance fees and required clearance documents for all newly admitted students for the 2025/2026 academic session.

LATEST UPDATE: DELSU Deadline For Acceptance fee payment has been announced 

The Management of Delta State University (DELSU), Abraka, has issued an official bulletin reminding all newly admitted students to pay their acceptance fees on or before Monday, October 27, 2025.

According to the notice dated Thursday, October 23, 2025, the directive applies to candidates offered admission in the first, second, and third batches into various programmes for the 2025/2026 academic session. The university emphasized that failure to pay within the stipulated period may result in the loss of admission and replacement with other candidates.

The bulletin also included a reminder of the approved resumption dates:

Sunday, November 2, 2025 – Fresh students resume on campus.

Sunday, November 16, 2025 – Old students return to campus.

All newly admitted students are therefore advised to complete their acceptance fee payments promptly to secure their admission and ensure a smooth start to the new academic session. 

Approved Resumption Dates

Sunday, November 2, 2025 – Fresh students resume on campus.
Sunday, November 16, 2025 – Returning (old) students resume on campus.

DELSU Acceptance Fee Schedule

All candidates who have been offered provisional admission into Delta State University are required to pay a non-refundable acceptance fee as indicated below and present evidence of payment during screening at their respective faculties:

1. Medicine & Surgery, Law, and Nursing Science
▪ Deltans – ₦65,000
▪ Non-Deltans – ₦75,000

2. Pharmacy and Engineering
▪ Deltans – ₦60,000
▪ Non-Deltans – ₦70,000

3. Other Faculties/Departments
▪ Deltans – ₦50,000
▪ Non-Deltans – ₦60,000

Registration / Clearance Requirements

All newly admitted students are to present the following documents for screening and clearance:

▪ Evidence of payment of acceptance fee
▪ Original JAMB Admission Letter
▪ Original UTME Result printout (not notification of result)
▪ SSCE/GCE/NECO Statement of Result (original and five photocopies)
▪ SSCE Result duly certified and stamped by the Principal (original and five photocopies)
▪ Letter of reference from a reputable Clergyman/Imam/Lawyer/Senior Civil Servant (original and five photocopies)
▪ Birth Certificate or Sworn Declaration of Age (original and five photocopies)
▪ Local Government or State of Origin Certificate (not affidavit)
▪ School Testimonial (original and five photocopies)
▪ Twelve (12) passport photographs with red background
▪ University Health Centre Medical Card

Note:
▪ Candidates who obtained their O’Level qualifications (WAEC, NECO, GCE, etc.) on or before 2025 must present their original certificates.
Affidavits in lieu of results or name corrections will not be accepted.
▪ Any candidate who fails to complete screening within four (4) weeks will be deemed to have rejected the offer of admission.

 Important Reminders

▪ Candidates must first accept their admission offer on JAMB CAPS within four weeks from the date of provisional admission.
▪ Failure to do so may result in JAMB marking the candidate as having refused admission, leading to loss of admission eligibility.
