Delviseduinfo Team wishes to inform you that KOMU second batch admission list for the 2025/2026 session has been released on the school portal.

Important Information for Candidates Not Yet Admitted

Commencement of 2025/2026 Admission Exercise and Activation of the JAMB Central Admission Processing System (CAPS).

This is to notify candidates seeking admission into Kingsley Ozumba Mbadiwe University (KOMU) for the 2025/2026 academic session that the JAMB CAPS has been activated for the admission exercise. This means that candidates can now closely monitor their admission status and easily know when they have been offered admission. We, therefore, advise candidates to closely monitor their admission status on JAMB CAPS to do the needful as soon as possible.

Steps to Monitor Admission on JAMB CAPS

▪ Verify Your O’Level Upload:
    a. Log-in to your JAMB profile (https://www.jamb.org.ng/efacility_/)
    b. Click on ‘Check Admission Status’
    c. Click on ‘Access my CAPS’
    d. Click on 'My O'level result’ to confirm if your O’level is uploaded. If not, visit any nearby accredited JAMB CBT centre or  Kingsley Ozumba Mbadiwe University (KOMU) ICT centre to upload your O’level result. Admission cannot be processed for candidates whose O’level status in CAPS indicates 'Awaiting Result'.

▪ Know When You Have Been Offered Admission:

Click on ‘Admission Status’ to monitor your admission. If recommended and approved by JAMB, accept the admission, print your admission letter, and follow other clearance directives from the University.

▪ Approval of Transfer of Programme:

Candidates may be considered for transfer due to UTME and O’level combinations. Check the ‘Transfer Approval’ link on CAPS. You must ACCEPT or REJECT. Accepting allows admission into the new program; rejecting keeps you in your original choice but the transfer will not be effected.

▪ Candidates with Awaiting Result:

UTME candidates should upload O’level results on JAMB and University portals. Direct Entry (including JUPEB) should also upload A’level and O’level results to avoid disqualification.

▪ How to Check Admission Status on JAMB CAPS:

To check your status on the JAMB CAPS Portal, follow these steps:

▪ Go to https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/.

▪ Log in to your JAMB profile using your username and password.

▪ Scroll down to find and click on the Check Admission Status tab.

▪ Click on Admission Status, or Access my CAPS.

▪ Select the three-dotted lines (⋮) at the top right of your browser and tick Desktop site.

▪ Then click on admission status again.

You will see one of the following statuses:

▪ CONGRATULATIONS… If you see this, you should accept or reject your admission and wait for further instructions.

▪ admission in progress check back later. If you see this, be patient as the status should change in a few days or weeks.

▪ Not Admitted. If this is your status, the article advises you not to give up hope as you might still gain admission.
