COOU Post UTME Form 2025/2026 Is Out [UPDATED]


This is an overview of the information from the official announcement regarding the Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University (COOU) Post-UTME and Direct Entry (DE) screening exercise for the 2025/2026 academic session.

Key Requirements & Eligibility

▪ Eligibility: Candidates who made COOU their first choice in the 2025 UTME. Candidates who did not initially choose COOU can also apply by performing a change of institution through JAMB.

▪ UTME Cut-off Marks:

▪ 150: For most programs.

▪ 200: For highly competitive courses such as Law, Medicine, Nursing, Medical Laboratory Technology, and Pharmaceutical Sciences.

▪ Age Requirement: Candidates must be at least 16 years old by September 30th, 2025.

▪ Application Fee: A non-refundable processing fee of ₦2,000.00.

▪ Registration Period:

▪ Opens: Monday, August 11, 2025

▪ Closes: Tuesday, September 18, 2025

Online Registration Guidelines

  1. Visit the University's Application Portal.

  2. Click on "Prospective Students" and then select "Generate 2025/2026 PUTME Invoice."

  3. Enter your JAMB Registration Number and sign in to generate the invoice.

  4. Make the payment at any commercial bank or online using an ATM card.

  5. Return to the portal, log in, and re-enter your JAMB Registration Number to click "Apply Here."

  6. Fill in your personal and academic information, including your Date of Birth.

  7. Ensure your O'Level result(s) are uploaded to JAMB CAPS via an accredited CBT center.

  8. Upload digital copies of your JAMB Result Slip and O'Level Certificate(s) (each not exceeding 50KB).

  9. Review the summary page, tick the confirmation box, and click "Submit."

  10. Print out your Acknowledgement Slip.

Direct Entry (DE) Candidates

DE candidates who chose COOU as their first choice must also register on the portal by selecting the "2025/2026 Direct Entry Application" option. They must have valid qualifications such as OND, HND, A’ Level, or a First Degree in a relevant discipline.
