BUK Post UTME Form 2025/2026 [UPDATED]

 

The Bayero University, Kano (BUK) Post-UTME online screening for the 2025/2026 academic session is ongoing. The deadline for registration has been extended to Sunday, September 14, 2025.

LATEST UPDATE: Extension of Post-UTME Online Screening This is to inform the general public especially prospective students the Bayero University, Kano (BUK) that the management has approved the extension of the period for the 2025 Post-UTME online screening exercise for the 2025/2026 academic session. The registration portal will now close on Sunday, 14th September, 2025. 

All prospective candidates are strongly advised to take advantage of this extension to complete their screening before the new deadline as there will be no further extension.

Eligibility and Cut-off Marks

▪ General Cut-off Mark: Candidates who scored 160 or above in the 2025 JAMB UTME are eligible to apply.

▪ Specific Cut-off Marks: Note that some courses have higher cut-off marks, including 190, 200, 220, and 240.

▪ O'level Results: Candidates awaiting their O'level results can still apply. However, it's mandatory to upload your WAEC, NECO, or other results on the JAMB Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) at a JAMB office or accredited CBT center. JAMB will not clear any candidate who has not uploaded their results.

▪ Exemptions: Blind and foreign candidates are not required to take the aptitude test but must complete the online registration.

Method of Application

The cost of the screening form is N2,000. Follow these steps to complete your registration:

1. Login: Go to the BUK website at https://mybuk2.buk.edu.ng/bukat2025/bukat_login.php.

2. Profile Update: Log in with your JAMB Registration Number as the username and your UTME aggregate score as the password. Fill out the provided form.

3. Generate PPI: Generate and download your Personalized Payment Invoice (PPI), which contains a Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) for the N2,000 fee.

4. Payment: You can pay online using a credit/debit card or print the invoice to pay at any commercial bank nationwide. If you pay at a bank, you must process the payment on the website using the "check your payment" button to generate and print your acknowledgment slip.
