AKSU Admission List 2025/2026 Is Out [UPDATED]

The Akwa Ibom State University (AKSU) has officially released the first batch admission list for the 2025/2026 academic session. This list is for candidates who took part in the university's Post-UTME screening exercise.

Checking Your Status on JAMB CAPS

Currently, the most reliable way to check your admission status is through the JAMB Central Admission Processing System (CAPS). Follow these steps carefully:

▪ Visit the JAMB e-facility portal at https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/.

▪ Log in to your profile using your JAMB username and password.

▪ Scroll down and click on the ‘Check Admission Status’ tab.

▪ From there, click on ‘Admission Status’ or ‘Access my CAPS’.

▪ On your mobile browser, click on the three-dotted lines (⋮) at the top right corner and enable ‘Desktop site’ for a better view.

▪ Click on ‘Admission Status’ again.

You will see one of the following outcomes:

  1. ‘CONGRATULATIONS…’: This means you have been offered admission. You must ‘ACCEPT’ or ‘REJECT’ the offer on JAMB CAPS and wait for further instructions.

  2. ‘Admission in Progress’: Your status is still being processed. Be patient and check back in a few days or weeks.

  3. ‘NOT ADMITTED’: Your admission has not been successful at this time. However, there is still a chance that your status might change, so do not give up hope.

Checking on the AKSU Portal

The admission list will also be made available on the AKSU Admission portal soon. When this happens, the following procedure will likely be used to check your status:

▪ Go to the AKSU Admission portal at https://www.aksu.edu.ng/AL.

▪ Click on “check admission status”.

▪ Enter your Jamb Registration number.

▪ Click on “search”.

Important Information for Admitted Candidates

▪ You are required to accept your admission on JAMB CAPS via http://www.jamb.gov.ng/eFacility/.

▪ You must proceed to pay your acceptance fee within two (2) weeks from the date the admission list is released.

▪ After paying the acceptance fee, complete your Bio-data form online to get your access code for course registration and school fee payment.
