Dorben Poly Admission Form 2025/2026 is Out [UPDATED]

 

Dorben Polytechnic has released its Admission Forms for the 2025/2026 Academic Session for both National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) programmes, available full-time and part-time. The cut-off mark for ND programs is 100.

Dorben Polytechnic Courses Offered

National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) Programmes:

▪️ Mass Communication (with options in Print Media, Broadcast Media for ND; Journalism & Media Studies for HND)

▪️ Computer Science (with options in Networking & Cloud Computing for HND)

▪️ Computer Engineering Technology

▪️ Science Laboratory Technology (with options in Chemistry, Microbiology)

▪️ Hospitality Management Technology

▪️ Maths/Statistics

▪️ Electrical/Electronics Engineering (with options in Power & Machine, Control/Instrumentation & Telecommunication for ND; Electronics & Telecommunication, Power & Machine Control/Instrumentation for HND)

National Diploma (ND) Programmes Only:

▪️ Office Technology & Management (Secretarial Studies)

Admission Requirements

National Diploma (ND) Admissions:

▪️ Candidates must possess a minimum of five (5) Credits in O’Level (WAEC, GCE, NECO, or NABTEB) in not more than two (2) sittings.

▪️ National Diploma admission is strictly through JAMB. Candidates who chose Dorben Polytechnic in the 2025 UTME and scored a minimum of 100 and above should come to the Dorben Polytechnic Admission Office for proper documentation and admission.

▪️ Candidates who chose another school in JAMB but wish to change to Dorben Polytechnic, having scored a minimum of 100 and above in JAMB UTME, can visit the JAMB Portal for Change of Institution to Dorben Polytechnic Abuja.

Higher National Diploma (HND) Admissions:

▪️ Candidates must possess a National Diploma (ND) with evidence of an Industrial Training (IT) discharge letter.

▪️ All HND graduates shall be mobilized for the mandatory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).

Scholarships

The Management has approved various scholarships on tuition fees:

▪️ 20% Scholarship for Military and Paramilitary Personnel officially recommended for admission.

▪️ 13% Scholarship for Dorben Alumni Siblings.

▪️ 11% Scholarship for triplets.

▪️ 8% Scholarship for two female student admissions (likely implying two female students applying together or specific criteria for female applicants).
