Atiba University, Oyo, is now selling admission forms for its One-Year JUPEB, Diploma, and Certificate Programmes for the 2025/2026 Academic Session.

JUPEB Programme

The Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board (JUPEB) is a national examination body approved by the Federal Government of Nigeria. It conducts common and standard examinations for candidates who have completed a minimum of one year of approved learning in universities and are seeking Direct Entry admissions into 200-level degree programmes in Nigerian and partnering Foreign Universities.

Atiba University is a partnering institution for JUPEB. The University trains candidates for the JUPEB examination, and successful candidates will be eligible for Direct Entry admission (200 level) into Atiba University and other participating Universities through JAMB. Admission of JUPEB graduates into Atiba University will be based strictly on merit and other entry requirements, in proportion to the University's admission quota for various programmes.

Atiba University JUPEB Admission Requirements

▪️ Applicants must possess credits in at least five relevant O’Level subjects (which must include English Language, Mathematics and any other three O’Level subjects) in WASC/SSCE, NECO, NABTEB equivalents, in not more than two sittings.

▪️ Candidates with awaiting results may also apply.

▪️ Applicants are to register for a combination of 3 subjects out of 16 subjects according to their proposed course of study at the University.

DIPLOMA AND CERTIFICATE PROGRAMMES

DIPLOMA IN COMMUNITY HEALTH & DISEASE PREVENTION AND CONTROL:

▪️ This is a four-semester training package for SSCE holders who intend to join the B.NSc. Nursing Science Degree Programme at the 200 Level.

▪️ Requirements: O’level as stipulated by JAMB and an acceptable pass obtained in this Diploma Programme.

▪️ Fee: N150,000 per semester.

DIPLOMA IN LAW:

▪️ This is a four-semester training package for SSCE holders who intend to join the LL.B Law Degree Programme at the 200 Level.

▪️ Requirements: O’level as stipulated by JAMB and an acceptable pass obtained in this Diploma Programme.

▪️ Fee: N150,000 per semester.

ADVANCED DIPLOMA IN COMPUTER SCIENCE:

▪️ This is a one-year transition package for ND/Diploma holders who intend to join the B.Sc. Computer Science Degree Programme at the 300 Level.

▪️ Requirements: O’level as stipulated by JAMB and an acceptable pass obtained in the Diploma Programme listed above.

▪️ Graduates of this advanced package get admitted for a two-year degree programme in Computer Science.

▪️ Fee: N150,000.

COMPUTER CERTIFICATE PROGRAMMES

1. Computer Appreciation Course:

   ▪️ A three-month intensive programme for Lecturers, Teachers, and Managers.

   ▪️ Focuses on effective use of Microsoft products and Office Suite packages.

   ▪️ Fee: N45,000.

2. CAD Programmes:

   ▪️ A professional three-month course for Engineers, Scientists, and Students interested in new Engineering methodologies and designs.

   ▪️ Programmes like AutoCAD and Blenders will be taught. Emphasis will be on designs rather than programming.

   ▪️ Fee: N60,000.

3. Professional Diploma in Computer Science:

   ▪️ A nine-month programme for school leavers, admission seekers, apprentices, tertiary institution students, and willing public members.

   ▪️ Suggested as a transition package for admission into a four-year degree programme in Computer Science at Atiba University.

   ▪️ Entry requirements are the same as normal JAMB requirements for the Degree Programme, but students do not have to write post-UTME to gain admission.

   ▪️ Fee: N75,000.

4. Advanced Diploma in Computer Science:

   ▪️ This is a one-year transition package for ND/Diploma holders who intend to join the B.Sc. Computer Science Degree Programme at the 300 Level.

   ▪️ Requirements: O’level as stipulated by JAMB and an acceptable pass obtained in the Diploma Programme listed above.
