Applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the following Nursing Programmes of the Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospitals Complex (OAUTHC), Ile-Ife:

▪ National Diploma/Higher National Diploma (ND/HND) in Nursing
▪ Post Basic Perioperative Nursing

I. NATIONAL DIPLOMA/HIGHER NATIONAL DIPLOMA (ND/HND) IN NURSING

REQUIREMENTS

Applicants must possess WAEC SSCE/GCE, NECO SSCE/GCE or NABTEB with five (5) credits (at not more than two sittings) in:

▪ English Language
▪ Mathematics
▪ Physics
▪ Chemistry
▪ Biology

Applicant(s) presenting NABTEB result will not be allowed to combine it with another result.

Applicants should be at least sixteen (16) years old as at January, 2026.

METHOD OF APPLICATION

Applicants must:

▪ Have sat for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and obtained a minimum UTME score of 180.

▪ Have chosen OAUTHC College of Nursing Sciences, Ife Hospital Unit, Ile-Ife or Wesley Guild Hospital, Ilesa as their first choice institution.

▪ Have sat for the following UTME subject combination:
▪ English Language
▪ Chemistry
▪ Physics
▪ Biology

Candidates should note that upon admission, they may be posted to either:

▪ Ife Hospital Unit, Ile-Ife
▪ Wesley Guild Hospital, Ilesa Campus

POST-UTME SCREENING EXERCISE FOR 2026/2027 SESSION

The Post-UTME Screening Exercise is open to candidates who:

▪ Scored a minimum of 180 in the 2026 UTME.

▪ Chose OAUTHC College of Nursing Sciences, Ile-Ife/Wesley Guild Hospital, Ilesa as their first choice institution.

▪ Are willing to change their institution and make OAUTHC College of Nursing Sciences, Ile-Ife/Wesley Guild Hospital, Ilesa their first choice for the approved programme.

All candidates must:

▪ Upload their O'Level results to the JAMB Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) portal.

▪ Choose either OAUTHC College of Nursing Sciences, IHU, Ile-Ife or Wesley Guild Hospital, Ilesa, Osun State as their first choice institution.

▪ Register online by accessing the institution's website and complete the application form.

SCREENING FEES

▪ Post-UTME Screening Fee: ₦2,000.00

▪ Portal Access Fee: ₦18,000.00

The portal access fee is payable only to the College's account through the online registration platform.

▪ Online Computer Based Test (CBT)

DATE OF COMPUTER BASED TEST (CBT)

The Computer Based Test will be conducted by the Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospitals Complex Nursing and Midwifery Entrance Examination Selection Committee from:

II. POST BASIC PERIOPERATIVE NURSING

This is a twelve (12) calendar month programme commencing in November, 2026.

REQUIREMENTS

Applicants must:

▪ Possess WAEC SSCE/GCE, NECO SSCE/GCE or NABTEB with five (5) credits (at not more than two sittings) in:

▪ Mathematics
▪ Physics
▪ Chemistry
▪ Biology

▪ Be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria as a Registered Nurse.

▪ Candidates presenting NABTEB result will not be allowed to combine it with another result.
