NYSC Call-Up Letter for 2025 Batch 'A' Stream II: Important Information

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has officially activated its portal for the printing of the 2025 Batch 'A' Stream II call-up letters. This crucial document details your State of Deployment, Date of Reporting to the Orientation Camp, the Officer-In-Charge, and the Address of your Orientation Camp.

The 2025 Batch 'A' Stream II orientation course is scheduled to commence on June 11. All Prospective Corps Members are strongly advised to re-print their call-up letters before heading to their respective orientation camps.

How to Print Your NYSC Call-Up Letter

To print your letter, simply follow these steps:

  1. Go to the NYSC portal at http://portal.nysc.org.ng
  2. Click on the "Login here" icon.
  3. Log in using your registered email and password.
  4. Click on the "Print Call Up Letter" link to access and print your document.

Important Note for Payment Status:

  • Prospective Corps Members who made payment during online registration are expected to log on to the NYSC Portal to print their call-up letters directly.
  • Those who did not make payment during online registration should collect their call-up letters from their respective institutions of graduation.

Essential Advisories and Requirements for Camp

Before Reporting to Camp:

  • Batch 'A' Stream II Prospective Corps Members are encouraged, as a matter of priority, to be immunized against cerebrospinal meningitis.

Prohibited Items in Camp:

  • Prospective Corps Members are not allowed to bring vehicles, motorcycles, or bicycles into the orientation camp.

Camp Registration Requirements:

  • For persons who studied in Nigeria: Bring your Degree/HND Certificates or Statement of Results, and your Personal Identity Card from your Institution of graduation.
  • For foreign graduates: You must verify original copies of ALL your uploaded credentials and travel documents, including your International Passport. Academic papers in languages other than English must be translated into English; both versions must be presented for verification at the camp.
  • For Medical/Veterinary Doctors, Dentists, Pharmacists, Optometrists, Physiotherapists, Nurses, and Public Environmental Health graduates: Bring your professional licenses or certificates of full registration issued by your respective professional bodies.

Legal Implications of Non-Compliance

It is imperative to adhere to the NYSC directives. Be aware of the following legal provisions:

  • Anyone who fails to report for service as directed in their Call-up Letter, or refuses to make themselves available for service, shall be prosecuted in line with Section 13 sub-section 1(a) and (b) of the NYSC Act, Cap. N84, Laws of the Federation of Nigeria, 2004.
  • Furthermore, anyone who is ineligible to participate in the service corps, or has already been duly issued a Certificate of National Service or Certificate of Exemption but still participates or attempts to participate, shall also be prosecuted in line with Section 13 sub-section 2(a) and (b) of the NYSC Act, Cap. N84, Laws of the Federation of Nigeria, 2004.
