 Nile University Post UTME Form for 2026/2027 Academic Session is Out. See available courses, school fees, how to apply and other details below. 


Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the various undergraduate programmes of Nile University of Nigeria for the 2026/2027 Academic Session.

All qualified candidates who selected Nile University of Nigeria as their First Choice Institution during JAMB registration are invited to apply for the Post-UTME Screening Exercise.

Candidates who did not choose Nile University as their First Choice but are interested in admission are advised to change their institution to Nile University on the JAMB Portal before applying.

The Post-UTME process may take the form of an examination and/or screening of documents and credentials as approved by the University Senate.

ABOUT NILE UNIVERSITY

▪ Nile University of Nigeria is a private university located in Abuja, Federal Capital Territory.

▪ The University was established in 2009 to provide quality tertiary education for Nigerian students.

▪ The institution currently offers undergraduate and postgraduate programmes across various faculties.

GENERAL ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

▪ Candidates must possess a minimum of five (5) credit passes in relevant O'Level subjects.

▪ Credits must include English Language and Mathematics where applicable.

▪ O'Level results may be obtained in not more than two sittings.

▪ Candidates must upload their O'Level results on the JAMB Portal.

▪ The general minimum JAMB score for admission is 150.

▪ Candidates seeking admission into Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) must score a minimum of 240 in UTME.

▪ Candidates seeking admission into Law (LLB) must score a minimum of 220 in UTME.

▪ The minimum score for all other programmes remains 150.

DIRECT ENTRY AND TRANSFER ADMISSION

DIRECT ENTRY

▪ Direct Entry candidates include holders of OND, HND, IJMB, JUPEB, NCE, A-Level, HSE and other approved qualifications.

▪ Candidates with 9 points and above may be admitted into 200 Level depending on programme requirements.

▪ Candidates with less than 9 points may be admitted into 100 Level.


TRANSFER ADMISSION

▪ Transfer candidates from recognized universities may be considered for admission.

▪ Candidates on academic probation may be admitted into a lower level.

▪ A minimum CGPA of 1.50 on a 5.0 scale is required for transfer consideration.


METHOD OF APPLICATION

STEP 1

▪ Select Nile University of Nigeria as First Choice Institution on the JAMB Portal.

STEP 2

▪ Possess at least five (5) credit passes in relevant O'Level subjects including English Language and Mathematics where applicable.

STEP 3

▪ Upload O'Level results (WAEC, NECO, NABTEB or equivalent) on the JAMB Portal.

STEP 4

▪ Select and confirm your preferred programme of study.

STEP 5

▪ Complete the University's mandatory Screening Exercise.

▪ Screening is compulsory for all applicants before admission can be offered.
