UNILAG Business School Admission into DBA Programme 2026 Is Out

UNILAG Business School Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) Programme Admission Form for 2026/2027 Academic Session is out. The closing date is Friday, July 31, 2026.

The University of Lagos Business School (ULBS) invites qualified candidates to apply for the Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) programme.

The programme is designed to link research-based knowledge to professional capacity development in order to enhance professional practice, national economic growth, and societal wellbeing.

OBJECTIVES

▪ Promote collaborative learning among professionals with support from experienced academics and scholars
▪ Equip participants with the ability to develop and apply theories in professional practice
▪ Encourage applied research that provides solutions to real-world business and management problems
▪ Develop leadership, management skills, and lifelong professional competence

AREAS OF SPECIALIZATION

▪ DBA in Management and Leadership
▪ DBA in Finance
▪ DBA in Entrepreneurship

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

▪ Master of Business Administration (MBA) or Master’s degree in Business-related fields (Management, Accounting, HRM, Marketing, Finance, Actuarial Science, Risk Management) from a recognized university
▪ Minimum CGPA of 3.50 on a 5-point scale
▪ Minimum of ten (10) years industry work experience
▪ Must currently hold a senior management or administrative position
▪ Submission and successful defence of a research proposal including:
▪ Statement of the Problem
▪ Objectives
▪ Literature Review
▪ Methodology

PROGRAMME DURATION

▪ Minimum: 3 years (6 semesters)
▪ Maximum: 5 years (10 semesters)
