OAU Pre-degree Form 2026/2027 Is Out [UPDATED]

Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) Pre-degree registration for the 2026/2027 academic session is now on sale. The closing date Is on 30/06/2026.

Applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the Pre-Degree Programme for the 2026/2027 Session.

ELIGIBILITY

▪ Candidates must possess a minimum of five (5) credit passes in five subjects at not more than two sittings
▪ English Language is compulsory for ALL courses
▪ Mathematics is required for Science-based and Social Science-based courses
▪ Literature-in-English is required for Law

DURATION

▪ The programme runs for two (2) contact periods within nine (9) calendar months

Arts

▪ Government / Literature in English / Religious Studies (GLR)
▪ Economics / Government / Literature in English (EGL)

Biological Sciences

▪ Biology / Chemistry / Physics (BCP)

Physical Sciences

▪ Chemistry / Mathematics / Physics (CMP)
▪ Geography / Mathematics / Physics (GMP)

Social Sciences

▪ Economics / Government / Mathematics (EGM)
▪ Mathematics / Geography / Economics (MGE)

▪ The above combinations meet the requirements for admission into ALL degree programmes in OAU (as applicable)

▪ Create an account
▪ Login using your username and password
▪ Select preferred payment method (e-Tranzact or Paystack)
▪ Fill the online application form
▪ Upload a recent passport photograph with the following specifications:
▪ Must be coloured with white background (black and white not accepted)
▪ Must be recent (not more than 3 months old)
▪ Must not exceed 100KB

▪ Logout after completion and keep login details safe
▪ Keep checking the website for entrance exam date

GENERAL INFORMATION

▪ Entrance examination will be computer-based
▪ Candidates should be familiar with basic computer usage
▪ Applicants should regularly check the website for updates
▪ All candidates must register for 2027 UTME during the programme
▪ Use valid email addresses and personal phone numbers
▪ Forms must be completed online immediately or within two (2) weeks
▪ Printed or downloaded forms will NOT be accepted
▪ Entrance exam holds at Ile-Ife and Ikeja (Lagos State) centres
▪ Candidates must carefully select correct subject combinations
