UMYU Supplementary Admission List 2025/2026 Is Out [UPDATED]

Umaru Musa Yar’Adua University, UMYU Supplementary Admission List  2025/2026 Academic Session on the school portal. 

The management of Umaru Musa Yar’adua University (UMYU), Katsina, wishes to inform the general public, especially prospective candidates, that the Supplementary admission list of successful candidates for the 2025/2026 academic session has been released.

Additionally, the 2nd updated admission list and the supplementary admission list for the same academic session are now available.

Candidates can also view both lists via the university’s official admission portal.

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS TO ADMITTED CANDIDATES

All successfully admitted candidates are required to:

Upload their correct O’Level results on the JAMB portal within one week of this announcement.

Failure to do so may lead to forfeiture of the admission offer.

Accept their admission status on JAMB CAPS.

Print their JAMB Admission Letters for documentation and verification.

Note: Only candidates who have successfully completed the above steps will be eligible to proceed with registration at the university.

Check Admission Status on the JAMB Portal 

To check your admission status on JAMB CAPS Portal and JAMB Admission Checking Portal, please follow the procedure below: 

▪ Go to the JAMB e-facility portal at https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/.

▪ Log in with your JAMB username and password.

▪ Scroll down and click on the ‘Check Admission Status’ tab.

▪ Next, click on ‘Admission Status’ or ‘Access my CAPS’.

▪ If you are using a mobile phone, click the three-dotted lines (⋮) in your browser's top-right corner and select ‘Desktop site’.

▪ Click on ‘Admission Status’ again.

After following these steps, you will see one of the following statuses:

▪ ‘CONGRATULATIONS…’: This indicates that you have been offered admission. You must now ‘ACCEPT’ or ‘REJECT’ the offer on JAMB CAPS and follow any further instructions.

▪ ‘Admission in Progress’: Your admission is still being processed. Be patient and check back in a few days or weeks.

▪ ‘NOT ADMITTED’: You have not been admitted at this time. However, your status may still change, so it's important to remain hopeful.

Next Steps After Admission

▪ All newly admitted students are hereby informed that they can now log in to their Post-UTME portal to make payment of their Acceptance Fee and print their Admission Letter.
▪ Students are advised to complete these processes promptly to secure their admission.
▪ Candidates who were offered admissions into programmes which are different from what they applied for are required to change to the offered programmes through the JAMB within one week.
▪ Candidates offered admission should accept their admission on JAMB CAPS immediately.
▪ Print their JAMB Admission Letter and school admission letter.
▪All candidates are to ensure that they upload their O Level results through the JAMB portal within One week. Failure to upload the O Level results may lead to forfeiture of the offer of the admission.

Important Notice

▪ This release covers the 2nd updated admission list and the supplementary Admission List for the 2025/2026 academic session.
▪ Subsequent batches will be released in due course.
▪ Candidates who have not yet been offered admission are advised to keep checking both the school portal and JAMB CAPS regularly.
