NYSC 2025 Batch ‘C’ Online Registration & Requirements [UPDATED]

National Youth Service Corps, NYSC Online Registration, Guide and Requirements for the 2025 Batch ‘C’ Prospective Corps Members. 

This is to inform all prospective corps members, i.e. Nigerians who have graduated from Universities and Mono/Polytechnics both home and abroad, that the NYSC registration portal will now be opened on Tuesday 4th November, 2025. to enable them to register for the 2025 Batch ‘C’ mobilization. 

Some Tips to Guide Locally-Trained Graduates During NYSC Registration

▪ The Revalidation link is for those deployed in 2025 Batch “C” Stream I and previous batches but did not go to the Orientation Camp.
▪ If you have registered previously and did not complete your Registration, do not create a new account instead click on “Login Here” to continue your registration with your previous Username and Password. 
▪ Do not thumbprint by proxy. Thumbprinting must be done by you personally.
▪ Upload a clear passport photograph. Do not upload passport photograph putting on NYSC crested vest, you will not be registered on camp if you fail to comply.
▪ Prospective Corps Members (PCMs) who have Name Correction requests (Addition or Removal of Name) should apply for that during online registration on their dashboard, including spelling errors and rearrangements.
▪ Date of Graduation and Course of Study will appear on both the Certificate of National Service and Exemption Certificate. Ensure these details are correct.
▪ Apply for a Date of Birth Correction on your dashboard. Note that this cannot be changed after camp registration.
▪ PCMs with wrongly uploaded thumbprint or passport photographs should contact the NYSC State Secretariat before the commencement of the Orientation Exercise.
▪ No change of passport photograph is allowed after registration on camp.
▪ Part-time graduates are to register online to print their Exclusion Letter on their dashboard when PCMs are enabled to print their Call-up Letters.

Some Tips to Guide Foreign-Trained Graduates During NYSC Registration

▪ Visit https://portal.nysc.org.ng/nysc1/ForeignReq.aspx for requirements of foreign graduates’ mobilization process.
▪ Do not create multiple accounts.
▪ Upload original copies of your documents and ensure your name is correctly entered as it appears on your certificate.
▪ You can register anywhere, but you must thumbprint in Nigeria before going to the Orientation Camp.
▪ Contact the Federal Ministry of Education, Abuja, if your institution has not been evaluated to obtain an Evaluation Letter.
▪ Submit the Evaluation Letter at NYSC NDHQ, Abuja.
▪ The SSCE result uploaded must be equal to or greater than four (4) years.
▪ Select a centre for Pre-Camp Physical Verification during online registration.
▪ All foreign-trained graduates should present themselves physically after successful online registration with their original degree certificates, transcripts, and travel documents.
▪ If your credentials have been physically verified at the pre-camp centres, print your Clearance Slip and present it for registration at your camp of deployment with original documents.
▪ Go to camp with the translated version of your certificate if you studied in a non-English speaking country.
▪ If exempted from service, collect your Exemption Certificate at NYSC NDHQ, Abuja.
▪ Those excluded from service will print their Exclusion Letter on their dashboard online.

NYSC Online Registration Procedure and Requirements

▪ Check the Senate List to verify your records.
▪ If registering for the first time, click on “Registration for Mobilization 2025 Batch ‘C’ Stream I.”
▪ If you registered previously but didn’t complete submission, click “Login Here” to continue with your old details.
▪ If mobilized before but unable to proceed to camp, click on “Revalidation” to revalidate your registration.

Important Guidelines for a Seamless Registration

▪ Ensure you have a functional email address and Nigerian GSM phone number for registration.
▪ Maintain the same email and phone number throughout the service year.
▪ Locally-trained PCMs must use their correct matriculation numbers to register.
▪ Only candidates whose names appear on the Senate/Academic Board Approved Result Lists submitted by their institutions will be able to register.
▪ Foreign-trained graduates must have graduated from accredited institutions.
▪ Foreign-trained PCMs in doubt of their institution’s accreditation should approach the Federal Ministry of Education for verification.

Documents Required for Foreign-Trained Nigerian Graduates

▪ West African School Certificate (WASC), GCE O’Level, NECO, or NABTEB — with not less than 5 credits at 2 sittings.
▪ Complete official transcript of First Degree or HND programme.
▪ International passport showing:
▪ Personal Data page
▪ Visa to country of study
▪ Date of first departure to country of study
▪ Date of arrival in Nigeria
▪ Graduates with dual nationality must upload both passports and present them at camp.
▪ Graduates from non-English-speaking countries must translate their certificates and transcripts into English before uploading.
▪ Graduates of Medicine, Veterinary Medicine, Physiotherapy, Radiology, Optometry, Medical Laboratory Science, and Pharmacy must have their Certificates of Registration with professional bodies (payment receipts not accepted).
▪ Physical verification for foreign-trained graduates will be done at the orientation camps — not at the NYSC Headquarters.
▪ All uploaded documents must be original; provisional, scanned, online printouts, or “To Whom It May Concern” documents are not accepted.
▪ Those seeking Exemption Certificates or Exclusion Letters must present original academic credentials and passports at NYSC NDHQ, Abuja.
▪ Foreign-trained PCMs not called up in the last batch should log on to revalidate — no need to pay ₦3,000 again.
▪ Any fake document presented will result in demobilization and decamping.

Passport Photograph Specifications

▪ Your face (eyes, nose, ears, mouth, and jaw) must be clearly shown.
▪ The photo must fill the frame and be centralized.
▪ The background must be white or off-white, with no shadow.

Biometric Verification

▪ Prospective corps members must register personally  no proxy registration.
▪ Remember the fingers used during biometric capture, as these will be verified at camp.
▪ Those who cannot be verified biometrically at camp will not be registered.

Payment and Call-Up Letters

▪ Only PCMs who want their call-up numbers sent via SMS or wish to print call-up letters online are to pay ₦3,000.
▪ Payment is made through the NYSC portal (see instructions on the website).
▪ Those who prefer not to pay can collect their call-up letters from their schools.
▪ PCMs who paid in previous batches but weren’t mobilized need not pay again.

Special Information for Married and Health-Challenged Corps Members

▪ Married female PCMs (locally or foreign-trained) should upload Marriage Certificate, Evidence of Change of Name, and Husband’s Place of Domicile during registration.
▪ The Orientation Camp is not suitable for pregnant or nursing mothers — such PCMs will not be accommodated.
▪ PCMs with serious health challenges should indicate their true health status during registration for concessional deployment.

Note for Part-Time Graduates

▪ All part-time graduates are expected to register online and wait to collect their Letter of Exclusion at their institutions.
▪ Those who wish to print it online must pay ₦3,000.

Final Note

▪ Once the NYSC portal is closed, no further registration will be allowed.
▪ All prospective corps members are advised to follow the official NYSC website and verified communication channels for authentic updates.
