Babcock University Matriculation Ceremony Date 2025 Announced [UPDATED]

 Babcock University Matriculation Ceremony Date for 2025/2026 Academic Session has been announced. 

The University Administration wishes to inform all fresh undergraduate and postgraduate students, faculty and staff, that the 2025 Matriculation Ceremony has been scheduled as follows:

Matriculation Ceremony Details

Date: Thursday, November 27, 2025
Venue: University Amphitheatre

Time Schedule:
Undergraduates: 7:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.
Postgraduates: 10:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

▪ Mandatory Attendance: All fresh students are required to participate in the matriculation ceremony as it marks their formal admission into the University.
▪ Seating Time: All students must be seated at least one hour before their scheduled ceremony time.
 ▪ Undergraduates seated by 6:00 a.m.
 ▪ Postgraduates seated by 9:00 a.m.

▪ Academic Gown Collection: Students are expected to collect their academic gowns from the Gown Room at the Amphitheatre on Tuesday and Wednesday from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m., and return them immediately after the ceremony. Penalty applies for late return or damage.
▪ Parents/Guardians: A designated seating area will be provided for parents and guardians. Attendees are encouraged to arrive early.
▪ Photography: Official photographers will be present. Personal photography is allowed only in designated areas.
▪ Dress Code: Formal dressing is required in line with University standards.

Important Final Notice to Students

All students are expected to have printed copies of their JAMB Admission Letters and confirm with their School Officers that their names are on the Matriculation Register.

No student without a JAMB Admission Letter will be included in the Matriculation List and therefore will not participate in the matriculation exercise.

Any student who does not participate in the matriculation ceremony ceases to be a student of the university.
