Amadeus University Secures NUC Approval for New Academic Programmes

The General Public is hereby informed that Amadeus University, Amizi, Ikwuano LGA, Umuahia, has been granted approval by the National Universities Commission (NUC), Abuja, to commence the following degree programmes effective from the 2025/2026 academic session:

▪ MBBS Medicine and Surgery
▪ LL.B. Law
▪ Pharm.D Doctor of Pharmacy

This approval came after a careful examination of the human and material resources for the commencement of the programmes by the Commission.

As a result of this development, admissions have commenced in the University into two of the programmes, namely:

▪ MBBS Medicine & Surgery
▪ D.Pharm Pharmacy

Admission Requirements

To secure admission, candidates must:
▪ Have obtained JAMB scores of 200 and above for Medicine & Surgery.
▪ Have obtained JAMB scores of 180 and above for D.Pharm Pharmacy.
▪ Possess the relevant credit passes in required subjects at SSCE or NECO in not more than two sittings.

How to Apply

▪ Interested candidates should apply for admission through the JAMB CAPS and change their choice of University and course of study to Amadeus University.
▪ Admissions are ongoing for the 19 other courses offered in the University as shown on the University portal.
▪ Candidates should note that admissions shall end on November 30, 2025.
