The Federal University of Health Sciences, Otukpo (FUHSO) Remedial Sciences and IJMB Programme Admission Form for the 2025/2026 academic session is now on sale.
The form cost is ₦10,000, and the closing date is November 30, 2025.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the Remedial Science Programme of the University for the 2025/2026 academic session.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Candidates must possess at least three (3) O’Level Credits in WASSCE/SSCE/NECO/GCE results or their equivalent in the following subjects:

▪ Mathematics
▪ English Language
▪ Chemistry
▪ Physics
▪ Either Biology, Agricultural Science, or Geography

PROGRAMME DETAILS

The Remedial Programme is strictly for Science Students who wish to study any of the following degree programmes:

▪ MBBS (Medicine & Surgery)
▪ Pharm.D. (Doctor of Pharmacy)
▪ B.NSc. Nursing Science
▪ B.MLS. Medical Laboratory Science
▪ B.Sc. Public Health & Epidemiology
▪ B.Sc. Biochemistry
▪ B.Sc. Microbiology
▪ B.Sc. Computer Science
▪ B.Sc. Chemistry
▪ B.Sc. Zoological Science
▪ B.Sc. Medical Physics
▪ B.Sc. Biostatistics
▪ B.Sc. Mathematics

ADDITIONAL BENEFITS

In addition to remedying deficiencies, the 2025/2026 FUHSO Remedial Sciences Programme will:

▪ Conduct JAMB/UTME Clinics to enable candidates prepare effectively through intensive teaching and coaching from Monday to Friday for the 2026/2027 JAMB/UTME examination.
▪ Prepare candidates through a Nine (9)-Month intensive programme of teaching and laboratory exercises to make them better suited for relevant 100-level degree programmes at FUHSO.

PLACEMENT INTO DEGREE PROGRAMMES

Placement into FUHSO degree programmes will be automatic for those who successfully complete the Remedial Sciences Programme, provided the candidate:

a. Obtains a minimum of 50% in each subject with at least 75% attendance in teaching and laboratory sessions.
b. Chooses Federal University of Health Sciences, Otukpo as their first choice in JAMB/UTME.
c. Meets the University’s cut-off mark for their chosen course (subject to review each academic year).
