Ekiti State University, EKSU Pre-Degree Admission Form for the 2025/2026 Session is now on sale. The Form cost N15,000. The closing date is 13th March 2026.

EKSU Pre-Degree Admission Requirements

Applicants seeking admission into the Pre-Degree Programmes must possess a minimum of five ‘O’ level credits at two sittings, including English Language.
▪ For all Science-based courses: Credits in Mathematics and three other Science subjects are required.
▪ For all Social Science-based courses: Credit in Mathematics and at least two Social Science subjects are required.
▪ For all Arts-based courses: At least three Arts subjects are required.

An entrance examination will be conducted to select eligible candidates for admission into the Programme.

How to Apply for EKSU Pre-Degree Form

Step One:
To apply for PRE-DEGREE, visit https://eksuportal.eksu.edu.ng. Then click on ADMISSION.
▪ Afterward, click on Apply for Admission.

Step Two: You will be directed to the EKSU online application portal. Sign up by filling out the required details.

Tip: MAKE SURE YOU PROVIDE YOUR ACTIVE EMAIL AND PERSONAL PHONE NUMBER, a verification email will be sent to you. 

Pro Tip: In the password section, when you click on the eye icon, you will see the password you entered.

Once account creation is successful, you will be treated with a pop-up notifying you that your email has been successfully registered.

 

Step Three: Click the OK button and you will be redirected to the EKSU Application dashboard.

While it seems there’s a lot on the dashboard, your focus should only be on the pre-degree section. Here you will see the cost of the form, closing date, and the application button. 

Step Four: Now click on the Apply button. You will be redirected to the post-UTME application page. Navigate or scroll down till you see “PRE DEGREE (2025/2026)” then click on “APPLY NOW” button.

Step Five: When you click on “Apply Now,” you will be asked to double-check your information. Click on the Continue button if you’re sure of the details you entered.

Step Six: Upon clicking the Continue button, you will see another pop-up informing you that you have started the registration. Just click on the OK button and you will see a card showing your details. Now click on the Continue button.

Step Seven: You will be moved to the payment page. On that page, click on PAY NOW.

Step Eight: You will be redirected to the payment page. Enter your phone number in the required column and click on MAKE PAYMENT.

Step Nine: Once you click on Pay Now, you will be redirected to Remita where you can either pay online or print out the invoice and pay in the bank.

Final Step: After successful payment, you will be allowed to fill your BIO-DATA, upload your O’level Results, and then select your choice of programs.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

All candidates seeking admission into the Pre-Degree Programmes must note that admission into the various programmes is not automatic.
Pre-Degree Students are required to take the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and obtain the National minimum UTME cut-off mark as may be fixed by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).
Only candidates who are successful in the internal Pre-Degree Examinations conducted by the Directorate of Pre-Degree Programme would be admitted into 100 Level.
Only candidates with Examination Permits issued by the Directorate will be allowed to write the Qualifying Examination.
