UNIZIK Admission List 2025/2026 Is Out [UPDATED]

UNIZIK Admission List: Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK) Admission List for 2025/2026 Academic Session Is Out

The management of Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK), Awka, has released the First Batch Admission List for the 2025/2026 Academic Session.

All candidates who participated in the UNIZIK Post-UTME screening exercise are hereby informed that the admission list is now available for verification on the JAMB Admission Portal.

How to Check UNIZIK Admission List

As of the time of this publication, the UNIZIK prospective students can only check their admission status from the JAMB Portal. 

Steps to Check Admission Status on JAMB Portal

To check your status on the JAMB CAPS Portal, follow these steps:

▪ Go to https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/.

▪ Log in to your JAMB profile using your username and password.

▪ Scroll down to find and click on the Check Admission Status tab.

▪ Click on Admission Status, or Access my CAPS.

▪ Select the three-dotted lines (⋮) at the top right of your browser and tick Desktop site.

▪ Then click on admission status again.

You will see one of the following statuses:

▪ CONGRATULATIONS… If you see this, you should accept or reject your admission and wait for further instructions.

▪ admission in progress check back later. If you see this, be patient as the status should change in a few days or weeks.

▪ Not Admitted. If this is your status, the article advises you not to give up hope as you might still gain admission.

Important Information for Admitted Candidates

Candidates Successfully admitted into Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK) are advised to: 

▪ Login to their JAMB Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) and ACCEPT or REJECT their admission. 
▪ Print their JAMB admission letter after accepting
▪ Print their original JAMB result slip (with passport photograph attached)
▪ Apply for a change of course on JAMB Portal if offered a course different from the one initially applied for

Steps After Admission

If you find yourself among the lucky ones, there are still duties to perform:

▪ Send ACCEPT or REJECT as an SMS to 55019 or 66019 using the phone number linked to your JAMB profile
▪ Once accepted, print your JAMB admission letter – it will be required for clearance and registration

Not Yet Admitted?

▪ The admission list is uploaded on the JAMB portal as it is processed
▪ Keep checking the JAMB website regularly for updates

Check Admission Status On UNIZIK Admission Portal

You can check your admission status by visiting the Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK) admission portal:

▪ Log into https://apply.unizik.edu.ng/signin/
▪ Enter your JAMB registration number and Password in the required column.
▪ Finally, click on the ‘Sigin’ button to access your admission status.
▪ Accept the admission and print both JAMB and University Admission Letters.

Note: If you see “Admission in Progress” on the UNIZIK portal, it simply means you have not yet been offered admission. Continue checking until it updates.

REMEMBER, when you see admission in progress on UNIZIK’s portal, it actually doesn’t mean you will be admitted and doesn’t also imply that their admission is still ongoing. It just means you have not been admitted yet. It’s a default message for all candidates who are yet to be admitted. 

After Admission Is Confirmed

All successfully admitted candidates should proceed to:

▪ Log in to the JAMB CAPS and click “Accept Admission”
▪ Print your JAMB Admission Letter and UNIZIK Admission Slip
▪ Proceed for Physical Clearance at the university within the specified registration period
▪ Complete Course Registration before the commencement of first-semester examinations
▪ Obtain your UNIZIK Matriculation Number after clearance
▪ Submit all registration printouts in a file to your Departmental HOD

Failure to complete clearance or registration within the given time may lead to automatic forfeiture of admission.

Important Information

▪ Candidates who fail to undergo physical clearance within the approved period will have their admission automatically terminated.
▪ Failure to complete course registration disqualifies a student from participating in examinations.
▪ Students can delete any wrongly registered course before the start of the semester examination.
