FUTO Supplementary Form 2025/2026 Is Out [UPDATED]

 Federal University of Technology Owerri, FUTO Supplementary Form for 2025/2026 Academic Session is now on sale. The closing date is 7th October, 2025. See how to apply below.

Candidates who chose the Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO) as their first choice university in the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) are hereby invited to the Supplementary Screening Exercise for admissions.

The following conditions apply:

▪ Application portal will open on Friday, September 26, 2025, and close on Tuesday, October 7, 2025.
▪ ONLY candidates that are at least 16 years old by September 30, 2025, are ELIGIBLE to apply.
▪ Each candidate must ensure that his/her JAMB subject combination is as prescribed in the JAMB brochure for the programme applied for.
▪ Candidates who did not choose FUTO as their first choice University but scored a minimum of 150 can also apply on the condition that they visit the JAMB CAPS and change to FUTO.
▪ Only candidates with at least 5 O’Level Credit passes in English Language and Mathematics, with three other relevant O’Level subjects (depending on the programme) at not more than two sittings are eligible to apply.
▪ ONLY candidates who scored a minimum of 150 in their UTME are ELIGIBLE to apply.

HOW TO APPLY FOR FUTO SUPPLEMENTARY ADMISSION

▪ Visit the University official website: www.futo.edu.ng
▪ Click on Prospective Students
▪ Click on Undergraduate
▪ Under Supplementary Post UTME Application, select Click Here to Apply
▪ Click on Generate Supplementary Application Invoice
▪ Enter your JAMB Registration Number
▪ Print your invoice and proceed to any bank to pay a non-refundable fee of ₦11,000.00 using the Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) code on the invoice.
▪ Alternatively, you can make payment using your ATM card.
▪ After successful payment in the bank, return to the portal.
▪ Repeat Steps (i) – (iv).
▪ Complete and submit the online Supplementary Application Form.
▪ Print out your Acknowledgement Slip.

METHOD OF CHANGE OF COURSE

▪ Visit the University official portal https://portal.futo.edu.ng/ 

▪ Click on Help/Support
▪ Click on Open a new ticket
▪ Fill in the necessary information and click Create Ticket
▪ Complete the Issue Summary Box, providing your JAMB Registration Number and the new choice of course
▪ Click on Create Ticket to submit your request
▪ You will be notified via email when to proceed to print out your Acknowledgement Slip bearing the new course

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

▪ Candidates who did not participate in the 2025/2026 Post-UTME Exercise are not eligible for the supplementary application.
▪ Candidates must have uploaded their correct O’Level results on the JAMB portal.
▪ Candidates should be properly guided by the provisions in the JAMB brochure with particular reference to the SSCE requirements.
▪ For Computer Engineering and Telecommunications Engineering – same as in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
▪ For Agri-business – same as in Agriculture.
