Baba Ahmed University Admission List 2025/2026 is Out [UPDATED]

The management of Baba Ahmed University, Kano has released the Provisional Admission List for the 2025/2026 academic session.

This is to inform all candidates who participated in the 2025/2026 Admission Screening Exercise that they can now check if their names are on the list of successful candidates.

This is to notify all qualified candidates who made Baba Ahmed University, Kano their first choice at the 2025 UTME that they have been offered provisional admission into the respective undergraduate programmes of the University for the 2025/2026 academic session.

For this session, the list has been posted on the university’s official Facebook page. Candidates are encouraged to go through the published names carefully and confirm their status.

Important Information for Shortlisted Candidates

▪ The 2025/2026 academic session begins on Sunday, 14th September, 2025, while Registration commences on Monday, 15th September, 2025.
▪ All candidates should check their names on the Admission List HERE to confirm their admission status.
▪ The admission offer is provisional, subject to meeting the minimum ‘O’ Level entry requirement for the respective field of study.
▪ All qualified candidates are required to pay their tuition fee of Seven Hundred and Six Thousand, Eight Hundred and Sixty Naira (₦706,860.00) per semester and Matriculation fee of Twenty Thousand Naira (₦20,000.00) to secure their admission not later than two (2) weeks after the admission offer, ahead of the 25C Semester Registration exercise which begins on Monday, 15th September, 2025.

How To Check Baba Ahmed University Admission List 

To check your admission status on JAMB CAPS Portal and JAMB Admission Checking Portal, please follow the procedure below: 

▪ Visit the JAMB E-facility portal: https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/
▪ Login to your JAMB profile with your username and password
▪ Scroll down and locate the ‘Check Admission Status’ tab
▪ Click on Admission Status
▪ Then click on Check Admission Status or Access my CAPS
▪ On your browser, select the three-dotted lines (⋮) at the top-right corner and tick ‘Desktop site’
▪ Then click on Admission Status

Possible Admission Messages on JAMB CAPS

▪ Case 1 – CONGRATULATIONS: Accept/Reject your admission and wait for further instruction.
▪ Case 2 – Admission in Progress: Be patient; the status will change in a few days/weeks.
▪ Case 3 – Not Admitted: Do not give up yet; you might still gain admission in subsequent batches.
