Entry Requirements

General Entry Requirements for National Diploma (ND) Programmes:

▪️ Senior School Certificates Examination (WAEC/NECO & NABTEB) with at least five (5) credits obtained at not more than two (2) sittings.

▪️ The credits must include English, Mathematics, and three other relevant subjects as specified in the current JAMB Brochure.

Method of Application & Instructions

1. JAMB Portal Application:

   ▪️ Candidates must first apply for Part-Time Admission on the JAMB Portal to generate a JAMB Registration number.

   ▪️ Visit any JAMB Accredited Centre.

   ▪️ Create a JAMB Profile, pick Yaba College of Technology as the Institution of choice, and select your preferred course.

   ▪️ Ensure any correction of name(s) is done before accessing the JAMB Portal.

   ▪️ This process is mandatory for all Part-Time candidates to process their admission on the Central Admission Processing System (CAPS).

2. College Portal Application:

   ▪️ After applying through JAMB, visit the College Portal at www.yabatech.edu.ng.

   ▪️ Pay the processing fee as indicated on the portal (online or in the bank, cash is not accepted).

   ▪️ Follow the on-line instructions to complete and submit the application form.

Important Notes

▪️ Candidates should clearly indicate their campus of preference for programs that run in both Yaba and Epe.

▪️ The deadline for submission of the application is six (6) weeks from the date of publication (August 8, 2025).
