WAEC Debunks Fake List of Cancelled Results

 

The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has issued a public notice to debunk a fake list of allegedly cancelled results circulating on social media.

▪ Disregard Fake Messages: WAEC urges the general public, candidates, schools, and other stakeholders to ignore any message listing schools whose results were purportedly cancelled.

▪ No Script Requests: WAEC categorically states that it will never request any centre to bring candidates' scripts to its office, as such an action is not part of their official procedures.

▪ Official Channels Only: Members of the public are strongly advised to disregard any information not disseminated through WAEC’s official handles and accredited media channels.
