MTN Spelling Bee Competition for 2025 is Open [N40 Million Cash Prizes]

 

MTN Nigeria is launching its mPulse Spelling Bee competition for 2025, aiming to enhance English proficiency among young linguistic talents. This competition offers significant scholarships and other prizes.

Objective

▪ The primary goal is to improve the English spelling and vocabulary skills of Nigerian primary and secondary school students.

▪ It provides a dynamic platform for participants to develop their linguistic abilities while competing for valuable rewards.

Eligibility

▪ The competition is open to students currently enrolled in primary or secondary schools across Nigeria.

▪ Participants must be between 9 and 15 years old.

▪ Their phone numbers must be subscribed to the mPulse tariff plan.

Competition Stages

The competition is structured into three distinct phases:

▪ Preliminary Round: Hosted on the MTN mPulse website, this stage will shortlist the top 1,000 students.

▪ Semi-Final Round: Also conducted on the mPulse website, this round will identify the 20 highest-scoring students who will advance to the final stage.

▪ Grand Finale: The culminating event where finalists will participate in a physical competition to determine the ultimate winners.

For the Students

▪ First Prize: Winner’s trophy, ₦2.5 million scholarship grant, a laptop, a smartphone, and an mPulse goody bag.

▪ Second Prize: ₦1.5 million scholarship grant, a smartphone, and an mPulse goody bag.

▪ Third Prize: ₦1 million scholarship grant, a smartphone, and an mPulse goody bag.

▪ Fourth to Tenth Place: ₦200,000 scholarship grant and an mPulse goody bag.

▪ Eleventh to Twentieth Place: ₦100,000 scholarship grant and an mPulse goody bag.

For the Schools

▪ The winning school will receive 10 MTN Hynetflex Modems and 10 laptops.

1. Existing Account: If you already have an mPulse account, log in on the MTN mPulse website.

2. New Account: If you are new to mPulse, sign up on the website.

3. Participation: Click on ‘Play monthly’ to start the competition.

4. Practice: Frequent practice tests are available for participants to hone their skills.

5. Migration: To finalize your entry, you must migrate to the mPulse tariff plan and then click ‘take quiz’.
