UNIMAID Post UTME Form 2025/2026 is Out [UPDATED]

 

This is inform all candidates who applied for admission into University of Maiduguri (UNIMAID) for 2025/2026 academic session that the Post UTME/DE Screening Exercise will commence on Monday, August 11, 2025 and end on Tuesday, September 30, 2025.

LATEST UPDATE: TWO WEEKS EXTENSION OF 2025/2026 PRE-ADMISSION SCREENING EXCERISE (UTME & DE) 

This is to inform all candidates seeking admission into University of Maiduguri that the 2025/2026 Post-Admission Screening Exercise which was originally scheduled to end on Thursday, September 11, 2025 has been extended to end on Tuesday, September 30, 2025 to enable candidates who are yet to activate their Post-UTME Screening and those who have not concluded the exercise to do so. 

Accordingly, all prospective candidates are hereby advised to take advantage of this window of opportunity and do the needful, as there will be no further extension beyond the stated date. 

Important Dates & Details

▪️ Application Period: August 11, 2025, to September 30, 2025 (extended date).

▪️ Application Fee: ₦2,000 [Excluding applicable charges]

▪️ Screening Method: Online screening only. There will be no physical or aptitude test.

Eligibility Criteria

For UTME Candidates

▪️ JAMB Choice: UNIMAID must be your first choice of institution.

▪️ JAMB Score: A minimum score of 150 is required, although some courses may have higher cut-off marks.

▪️ O'Level Requirements: A minimum of five O’Level credits in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, in no more than two sittings.

▪️ JAMB CAPS: You must ensure your O’Level results are uploaded to your JAMB CAPS profile.

For Direct Entry (DE) Candidates

▪️ DE Qualifications: A minimum of Lower Credit/Merit in Diploma, 8 points in NCE/IJMB, or a Second Class Lower Division from a recognized institution.

▪️ O'Level Requirements: Must also meet the five O'Level credit requirement as specified for UTME candidates.

Application Procedure

Follow these steps to apply for the online screening:

1. Visit the official UNIMAID website at www.unimaid.edu.ng.

2. Click on the "Post UTME screening 2025" link.

3. Log in using your JAMB Registration Number as the username and umstad@2025 as the default password.

4. Upload a recent passport photograph (less than 200KB) and set a new password.

5. Provide your phone number and email address, and then click “Generate” to create a payment invoice for ₦2,000.

6. Complete your bio-data and A/O Level results section.

7. Upload all the required documents.

8. Finally, click "Submit" to complete your application.
