UNIMAID Post UTME Form 2026/2027 Is Out [UPDATED]

 University of Maiduguri Post UTME Screening Registration Form is currently on sale. The Minimum UTME Cut Off Mark is 150.

This is to inform all candidates seeking admission into the University of Maiduguri (UNIMAID) that the 2026/2027 Post-UTME and Direct Entry Admission Screening Exercise has commenced.

The screening exercise will run from Monday, 14th June, 2026 to Friday, 14th August, 2026.

Candidates are advised to complete their applications within the stipulated period as there will be no extension beyond the closing date.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

▪ Only UTME and Direct Entry candidates who selected UNIMAID as their First Choice Institution during the 2026 UTME are eligible.

▪ UTME candidates must have scored a minimum of 150 in the 2026 UTME.

▪ Some programmes may require higher cut-off marks as specified by the University.

▪ Candidates must meet the required UTME subject combination for their chosen course as prescribed in the 2026 JAMB Brochure.

▪ Candidates who do not meet the requirements of their chosen course may change to another course for which they are qualified.

▪ All candidates must possess at least five (5) O'Level credits including English Language and Mathematics in subjects relevant to their proposed course of study.

▪ O'Level results must be obtained in not more than two (2) sittings.

▪ Direct Entry candidates must possess any of the following:

▪ National Diploma (ND)

▪ Higher National Diploma (HND)

▪ Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE)

▪ Other approved equivalent qualifications

▪ Direct Entry candidates must possess at least:

▪ Lower Credit in ND/HND

▪ Merit in NCE

O'LEVEL REQUIREMENTS

▪ Only O'Level result printouts downloaded directly from the websites of WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB will be accepted.

▪ Photocopies of original certificates may also be accepted during verification.

▪ Candidates must ensure their O'Level results are uploaded on their JAMB CAPS profile.

SCREENING FEE

▪ A non-refundable screening fee of ₦2,000 is payable.

▪ Payment must be made through the Remita Platform.

HOW TO APPLY

STEP 1

▪ Visit the University website.

▪ Click on Post-UTME Screening 2026.

STEP 2

▪ Login using:

▪ Username: Your JAMB Registration Number

▪ Password: unimaid@2026.

STEP 3

▪ Upload a recent passport photograph.

▪ Passport size must not be less than 200KB.

STEP 4

▪ Select your preferred course of study.

STEP 5

▪ Enter a valid phone number and email address.

STEP 6

▪ Click Generate to make payment of ₦2,000.

STEP 7

▪ Complete your bio-data information.

▪ Enter your O'Level and A'Level results where applicable.

▪ Upload all required documents.

STEP 8

▪ Review your application and submit successfully.
