The University of Jos (UNIJOS) Post-UTME and Direct Entry Screening Form for the 2025/2026 Academic Session is now on sale. The management has announced an extension of the registration deadline to 9th October, 2025.

The screening exercise is for all candidates who made UNIJOS their first choice institution and scored the minimum required cut-off marks.

Latest Update: The University of Jos hereby announces the extension of its Online Screening exercise for all qualified candidates who applied through the 2025 UTME and Direct Entry (DE) for the 2025/2026 Academic Session.

Eligibility Criteria

▪ Candidates must have chosen University of Jos (UNIJOS) as their First Choice Institution in the 2025 UTME.
▪ Candidates must have scored not less than the general institutional cut-off mark of 180.
▪ Direct Entry candidates must have applied through JAMB and chosen UNIJOS as their first choice.
▪ Candidates are allowed to use a maximum of two (2) O’Level sittings (WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB).

Registration Details

▪ Registration Portal: portal.unijos.edu.ng
▪ Registration Period: 18th August, 2025 – 9th October, 2025
▪ Application Fee: ₦2,000 (Two Thousand Naira Only)

Registration Procedure

Step 1: Create an Account

▪ Visit portal.unijos.edu.ng.
▪ Click FORMS APPLICATION and select 2025 UTME/DE Screening.
▪ Read the pop-up instructions carefully, then close it.
▪ Enter your JAMB Registration Number and click Get Started.
▪ Fill in your email, phone number, and password to sign up.
▪ Check your email for the activation link and activate your account.

Step 2: Payment of Screening Fee

▪ Return to the portal and click LOGIN.
▪ Enter your registered email and password.
▪ On your dashboard, click Make Payment to pay the ₦2,000 fee.
▪ Follow the instructions to complete payment successfully.
▪ Print both the portal receipt and the Remita receipt sent to your email.
▪ Proceed to print your screening summary slip for reference.

Important Notes

▪ Only candidates who selected UNIJOS as First Choice will be processed.
▪ Ensure you meet the departmental cut-off mark before registration.
▪ Upload your O’Level results to JAMB CAPS before completing registration.
▪ All admitted candidates must first accept their admission on JAMB CAPS before it reflects on the UNIJOS portal.
▪ Failure to upload O’Level results or follow the stated procedures may lead to disqualification.

Closing Date

The Online Screening Portal for both UTME and Direct Entry candidates will remain open from 18th August, 2025 to 9th October, 2025.
Any candidate who fails to complete the screening within this period will not be considered for admission.

Additional Information

▪ JAMB will not clear any candidate without O’Level results.
▪ Supplying false information during registration will result in automatic disqualification.
▪ Candidates seeking change of course should ensure they meet the new course requirements before proceeding.
