TASUED Admission List 2025/2026 Is Out [UPDATED]

 

This is to inform all the candidates that participated in the Tai Solarin University of Education (TASUED) admission screening exercise that the management has released the admission list for the 2025/2026 academic session. 

Please note that the admission is been released gradually. If you check and haven’t been offered admission, then you have nothing to worry about. 

How to Check Your Admission Status

The official way to check your admission status is through the TASUED portal and the JAMB CAPS portal. You should check both.

Method 1: Check on the TASUED Admission Portal

This is the most direct way to confirm your admission status from the university itself.

▪ Step 1: Go to the official TASUED admission portal at my.tasued.edu.ng/core/auth/index.php.

▪ Step 2: Log in by entering your JAMB Registration Number as your Username and your surname as your Password.

▪ Step 3: Select 'Prospective Student' from the login options and click the 'Login' button.

▪ Step 4: Navigate to the 'Admission Status' link to see if you have been offered admission.

Method 2: Check on the JAMB CAPS Portal

Checking your status on the JAMB portal is also crucial as it's the official confirmation from the examination body.

▪ Step 1: Visit the JAMB e-facility portal at https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/.

▪ Step 2: Log in with your JAMB username and password.

▪ Step 3: Scroll down and click on the 'Check Admission Status' tab, then select 'Access my CAPS'.

▪ Step 4: You may need to set your browser to 'Desktop site' for full functionality.

▪ Step 5: Click on the 'Admission Status' button to view your result.

What to Do After Gaining Admission

Congratulations if you've been admitted! Your next steps are critical to secure your spot.

▪ Accept your Admission: Log in to your JAMB CAPS account and accept the admission to finalize your entry.

▪ Print Documents: Print your JAMB Admission Letter and the JAMB Result Slip. You'll need these for physical clearance.

▪ Pay Acceptance Fee: The TASUED portal will provide instructions to generate an invoice and pay your acceptance fee. Be sure to do this before the deadline.

▪ Prepare for Clearance: Gather all the necessary documents for physical screening and clearance at the university. This typically includes your O'level results, birth certificate, and proof of state of origin.

Next Steps for Those Still Waiting

If you check and your status is still showing "Admission in Progress" or "Not Admitted", don't lose hope.

▪ Be Patient: Admission lists are often released in batches. Your status may change in the coming days or weeks.

▪ Check Regularly: Continue to check both the TASUED and JAMB CAPS portals frequently for updates.

▪ Check JAMB CAPS for a Change of Course: Sometimes, you may be offered a different course if you didn't meet the requirements for your first choice.
