SLU Post UTME Form 2026/2027 Is Out [UPDATED]

Sule Lamido University (SLU) Post UTME and Direct Entry Screening Registration Form for the 2026/2027 Academic Session is now on sale. The closing date is Sunday, 30th August, 2026. The cut-off mark is 150 and above.

The management of Sule Lamido University (SLU) has released the Post UTME and Direct Entry registration form for the 2026/2027 Academic Session.

According to the management, registration will commence on Monday, 27th July, 2026 and end at midnight on Sunday, 30th August, 2026.

CANDIDATES ELIGIBLE TO APPLY FOR SLU POST UTME

▪ UTME candidates must have passed a minimum of five (5) relevant subjects at credit level in the Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSCE) or its equivalent in not more than two (2) sittings, including English Language and Mathematics.

▪ Direct Entry candidates must possess a minimum of Lower Credit in the National Diploma (ND), a Merit in NCE or 8 points in the IJMBE Advanced Level.

▪ Interested UTME candidates who did not choose Sule Lamido University, Kafin Hausa as their first choice institution but wish to study in the University and scored 150 and above in the 2026 UTME should change to SLU through the JAMB website (www.jamb.org.ng).

HOW TO APPLY FOR SLU POST UTME

Online registration for the screening exercise for both UTME and Direct Entry candidates will commence on Monday, 27th July, 2026 and end at midnight on Sunday, 30th August, 2026.

To register for the exercise, follow the procedures below:

STEP 1: Visit the Sule Lamido University Kafin Hausa website at www.slu.edu.ng and navigate to Admissions, then select Online Application, or visit admissions.slu.edu.ng and select UTME or Direct Entry (DE).

STEP 2: Log in using your UTME Number and UTME Score (for UTME applicants) or DE Number, State of Origin and Gender (for Direct Entry applicants), then upload your passport-sized photograph.

STEP 3: Update your profile with the required accurate information.

STEP 4: Update your O'Level examination details with a maximum of two sittings. After saving the information, upload a clean and clear scanned copy of your SSCE Statement of Result(s).

STEP 5: Direct Entry candidates should then proceed to upload both their SSCE and A'Level results.

STEP 6: Go to "POST-UTME Payment" and click "Pay Now" to pay directly with your card or click "Download Payment Schedule" to generate, download and print the payment schedule containing all payment details.

All candidates are to pay the sum of Two Thousand Naira (₦2,000.00) only, excluding REMITA charges, as the Online Post-UTME/DE Screening Fee through any Commercial Bank, Debit Card or the Remita website.

STEP 7: After successful payment, generate, download and print the Acknowledgement Slip to complete your registration.

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR REGISTRATION

Successful admitted candidates must present the originals and photocopies of the following documents during registration:

▪ Acknowledgement Slip

▪ Evidence of Payment

▪ UTME Result/Direct Entry Registration Slip

▪ SSCE Statement(s) of Result

Any candidate who wishes to change their choice of institution or programme using the JAMB Green Card should do so within the stipulated online registration period, from Monday, 27th July, 2026 to midnight on Sunday, 30th August, 2026.

Any candidate who fails to register for the online screening exercise within the scheduled dates will not be considered for admission into the University during the 2026/2027 Academic Session.

SLU POST UTME SCREENING DATE

The screening exercise for both UTME and Direct Entry candidates will be communicated later.

SCREENING VENUE

All eligible candidates should report to the University's Permanent Site, Kano–Jahun Road, Kafin Hausa, Jigawa State by 9:00 a.m. on the appropriate date.

Any candidate who fails to appear for the screening exercise on the scheduled date will not be considered for admission into the University during the 2026/2027 Academic Session.
