OOU Post UTME Screening Date 2025/2026 Announced [UPDATED]

Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU) Post UTME Screening Exam Date for 2025/2026 Session has been extended. The exam will be physical. See details below. 

This is to inform the General Public and the University Community that the OOU 2025/2026 Post-UTME Screening Exercise will be conducted from Tuesday, 2nd to Friday, 5th September, 2025.

In view of this, the conduct of the examinations which was scheduled to hold from Tuesday, 12th to Friday, 15th August, 2025 has been rescheduled to hold from Tuesday, 2nd to Friday, 5th September, 2025. All the guidelines aforementioned for the 2025/2026 post-UTME screening exercise must be adhered to as follows:

▪ Applicants who are yet to upload their O’level results on JAMB CAPS are advised to proceed to the nearest JAMB CBT centre and ensure that this is done on or before Tuesday, 26th August, 2025.

▪ Those who have uploaded their O’level details (on CAPS) will be able to complete their registrations and subsequently print their “Exam Pass”.

▪ Applicants who fail to comply with this directive will not be issued “Exam Pass” to partake in the 2025/2026 PUTME screening exercise. Such applicants will not be considered for the 2025/2026 admissions.

▪ Candidates who have UPGRADED from UTME to Direct Entry must ensure that they register for PUTME with the new registration number which ends with “U” to avoid loss of result.

Applicants are advised to check their respective portal/mail and print out their OOU PUTME Screening Exercise Passes. This Pass will show the date and time allotted to each applicant. 

How to Print Your Screening Pass

1. Navigate to the OOU post UTME applications portal.

2. Select the "PUTME Screening Pass" tab.

3. Enter your JAMB Registration Number in the designated field.

4. Click "Print PUTME Screening Pass" to access and print your schedule.

Candidates are advised to note the basic requirements for the screening as stated below and to adhere strictly to rules and regulations guiding the Screening. 

The course/programme and time are to be indicated on the Screening Pass for each Candidate. The venue for the exam is the Main Campus, Ago-Iwoye. It is also important to note that Eligibility/Criteria, Mode of Screening and Mode of Registration remain as earlier advertised. Candidates are, therefore, enjoined to arrive at the Screening Centre early for the Screening 

How Many Questions is the OOU Post UTME Exams 

50 questions. You will be given a total of 50 questions from English language, Current Affairs and three other subjects usually similar to your JAMB subject combination. This information is based on the previous year’s post-UTME format we hope 2024 follows same suit.
