GSU Notice on 2026/2027 Post UTME Commencement [UPDATED]

 Gombe State University, GSU Post UTME Screening Form for 2026/2027 Academic Session has been reopened and has commenced. Cut-off mark is 150 – 200. 

At the 114th Regular Meeting of the Senate, held on Thursday, 4th June, 2026, the Senate considered and approved guidelines and modalities for the conduct of the 2026/2027 Admission into Gombe State University as follows:

MINIMUM ADMISSIBLE AGE INTO GOMBE STATE UNIVERSITY
For a candidate to qualify for admission to Gombe State University, he or she must be at least 16 years old by 30th September, 2026. Underage applicants who are below 16 years of age require an exceptional performance of 320 and above, and an indemnity form to be signed by the Vice-Chancellor.

MINIMUM CUT-OFF MARK FOR ADMISSION
The minimum cut-off mark for admission into Gombe State University (based on 2026 JAMB admissions guidelines) is 150 points.

DEADLINE FOR COMPLETION OF THE ADMISSION
All admissions into Nigerian Public Universities must be conducted no later than 31st October, 2026.

ACCEPTANCE OF OFFER OF ADMISSION
Admitted candidates must accept the offer of admission within 4 weeks.
