FUGUS Admission List 2025/2026 Is Out [UPDATED]

 

The Federal University Gusau (FUGUS) admission list for the 2025/2026 academic session has been released. Candidates can now check their admission status on the JAMB portal.

How to Check Your Admission Status

Method 1: Via the JAMB Portal

To check your admission status using the official JAMB portal:

▪ Go to the JAMB E-Facility portal: https://jamb.gov.ng/efacility.

▪ Log in to your JAMB profile with your username and password.

▪ Scroll down and click on the “Check Admission Status” tab.

▪ Select your exam year and enter your JAMB registration number.

▪ Click on “Check Admission Status” or “Access my CAPS.”

▪ To get the best view, click on the three-dotted lines at the top right corner of your browser and select "Desktop site."

You will see one of the following statuses:

▪ CONGRATULATIONS…

▪ If you see this, accept or reject your admission and wait for further instructions from the school.

▪ Admission in Progress

▪ Be patient; the status will change in a few days or weeks. Check back periodically.

▪ NOT ADMITTED

▪ Don't give up. The admission process may still be ongoing, so keep checking.

Method 2: Via the FUGUS Website

When the list is made available on the school's portal, you can check it by following these steps:

▪ Visit the university’s registration portal: ugs.fugusau.edu.ng.

▪ Click on “Check Admission” and enter your JAMB Number.

▪ If you've been offered admission, log in with your JAMB Number as both the username and password.

▪ Fill out and submit your personal and academic information.

▪ Print your personal information form.

▪ Bring your original credentials to the university for clearance and confirmation.

Requirements for Admitted Students

Successfully admitted candidates should have the following documents ready for clearance:

▪ JAMB Admission Letter

▪ JAMB Result Slip

▪ Original and photocopies of all credentials

▪ Four (4) recent passport-sized photographs

Important Note

It is crucial that your O’ level results are properly uploaded on JAMB CAPS. A failure to do so may prevent you from being offered admission.
