The University of Ilorin, (UNILORIN) Post UTME Form for 2026/2027 academic session is out. The Direct Enter form for 2026/2027 Academic Session is also Out. UNILORIN Pre-Admission Registration Period is from Monday 22nd June, 2026 to 00:00hr of Sunday, August 9, 2026.

LATEST UPDATE: UNILORIN EXTENDS POST UTME REGISTRATION DEADLINE

IMPORTANT INFORMATION TO CANDIDATES REGISTERING FOR 2026/2027 POST UNIFIED TERTIARY MATRICULATION EXAMINATION (UTME) EXTENSION OF TIME FOR REGISTRATION AND COMMENCEMENT OF POST UTME SCREENING EXERCISE

This is to inform candidates registering for the 2026/2027 Post UTME at the University of Ilorin as well as the general public that: the ongoing Post-UTME registration which was earlier scheduled to close on Sunday, 12th July, 2026 has now been extended to Sunday, August 9, 2026.

Candidates and the general public are to take note of the above development, please.

CANDIDATES ELIGIBLE TO APPLY FOR UNILORIN POST UTME FORM

Only Candidates who choose UNILORIN as their FIRST CHOICE are eligible to purchase the form.

Please note: In some courses you must score higher mark for you to be eligible to apply for the admission screening form. See those courses and their cut off marks.

Note: Wrong entries will automatically disqualify a candidate; and Offer of Admission will be based on an aggregate of UTME/DE score (50%); Post-UTME screening score (30%); and five (5) relevant O’ level grades(20%).

A. REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS

Candidates are requested to print out this page and read the instruction carefully before commencing registration.

Registration period is from 00:01 on the Monday 22nd June, 2026 to 00:00hr of Sunday, August 9, 2026.

All candidates are to upload their O’ Level and/or A’ Level results where applicable on JAMB CAPS: Candidates who are awaiting results should so indicate by typing/selecting ‘AR’.

Change of course: Candidates who are interested in changing courses/programmes are to effect these changes on JAMB CAPS and NOT on the unilorin portal as the University will periodically download these changes from jAMB CAPS and update the Unilorin portal right up to the time of closure of PUTME registration. There will be no updates after the closure of registration.

Before commencing the registration process, Candidates must have a personal, valid and active email address as well as a personal (not a third-party) mobile number.

A candidate will proceed to pay Registration fee of ₦2,000.00 only. (See B.vi. below)

Candidates are advised to please crosscheck the correctness of all entries before final submission.

Candidates should note that information entered can be reviewed for correction purposes during the course of registration right up to the closure of the portal for registration to ensure error-free registration.

Candidates should print out their screening document and make sure that all information entered are correctly displayed. Where then information supplied is not correctly displayed, candidates are advised to re-enter their information.

Candidates who have valid complaints regarding the correctness of report such at the University of Ilorin Admissions Office by sending an email to admissions@unilorin.edu.ng

Candidates are advised to make sure that their printout bearing their BEST FIVE RELATED subjects are clearly printed on their slips as well as other details such as the UTME subjects and scores.

Candidates who register for courses that admit only candidates with one sitting or result (MBBS, Pharmacy, Optometry and Computer engineering) must ensure that only THE ONE SITTING is submitted on the portal.

NOTE: AT THE CLOSE OF REGISTRATION, CANDIDATES SHOULD ENSURE THAT THE O’ LEVEL RESULTS UPLOADED ON THE UNIVERSITY PORTAL SHOULD BE THE SAME AS THAT UPLOADED ON JAMB CAPS.

HOW MUCH IS UNILORIN POST UTME FORM?

The official cost for the UNILORIN post utme form is Two Thousand Naira Only (N2,000) Excluding bank charges.

REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS

Print out this page before commencing registration.

Registration Period is from Monday 22nd June, 2026 to 00:00hr of Sunday, August 9, 2026.

All candidates shall upload their O’ Level and/or A’ Level results where applicable on the JAMB CAPS: Candidates who are awaiting results should so indicate by writing ‘AR’.

Ensure that you have a personal, valid and active email address and phone number (NOT Cybercafé’s) before commencing the registration process.

Proceed to pay Registration fee of N2, 000.00 only. (See B.vi. below)

Please crosscheck all entries for correctness before final submission.

Candidates should note that it is possible for them to correct errors in their entries before submission while the registration process is still on.

Candidates should print out their screening document and make sure that all information entered are correctly displayed. If not correctly displayed, candidates are advised to re-enter their information.

HOW TO APPLY FOR UNILORIN POST UTME FORM

To apply, follow the steps outlined below:

▪ Log in using https://portal.unilorin.edu.ng/ug/admissions OR visit https://portal.unilorin.edu.ng and click on Post-UTME Registration.

▪ Candidates are strongly advised NOT TO USE ANY OTHER LINK.

▪ Pre-admission Screening Registration.

▪ On the Post-UTME Registration page, click on Verify your details.

▪ Complete the displayed fields (e.g. JAMB Registration Number, Surname e.t.c).

▪ Candidates should click on the verify button for UTME/DE information.

▪ Click on Proceed button to go to Remita platform (you can pay with card, transfer, USSD, bank or QR code).

▪ Please note: Do not Refresh your browser while the payment process is ongoing to avoid multiple deductions from your account.

▪ If unsure, please wait for some hours for the possibility of getting a debit alert from your bank.

▪ If you have problems with your previous payment, enter your JAMB Registration Number on step VI below and validate the payment.

▪ After making payment, click on Confirm your payment to confirm your payment using your JAMB registration number.

▪ Click on Validate under the payment RRR number to verify your payment status.

▪ After successful confirmation of payment, click on Resend Activation code to get an activation code if you haven’t received an activation code.

▪ Check your email (an email containing your activation code has been sent to your email address).

▪ Click on Activate your account to activate your account with the activation code sent to your email.

▪ After activation, check your email (an email containing your account login details has been sent to your email address.

▪ Upon successful activation, visit https://portal.unilorin.edu.ng/ug/candidate/login

▪ Enter your JAMB Registration Number and password; and click ‘login’

▪ Click on My Application button and complete all necessary details; click submit button when you are sure all information have been accurately provided.

DIRECT ENTRY (DE) CANDIDATES

The step-by-step Registration Procedures in B, (i-xii) above also applies to Direct Entry candidates.

In addition to (i) above, Direct Entry candidates are required to select their highest academic qualification from the drop-down under Qualification while filling the application.

Candidates are advised to carefully enter their results as any error will be deemed as deliberate falsification of results, which would lead to automatic disqualification at any stage of discovery.

UNILORIN POINTS FOR O’LEVEL RESULTS

O-level takes 20% of the total score. it’s calculated as follows:

▪ A1 = 6 points

▪ B2 = 5 points

▪ B3 = 4 points

▪ C4 = 3 points

▪ C5 = 2 points

▪ C6 = 1 point

Example: A student who got this in their 5 important 0’level subjects.

Please note: The school chooses your five reevanet subject for you.

English language: A1

Mathematics: B2

Physics: B3

Chemistry: C4

Biology: C5

The total point = 6+5+4+3+2 = 20 over 30

The point will now be converted to 20 = 20/30 ×20 = 13.3

SOME OTHER IMPORTANT THINGS TO KNOW?

Wrong entries will automatically disqualify a candidate; and Admission will be based on an aggregate of UTME/DE score (50%); Post-UTME screening score (30%); and five (5) relevant O’ Level grades (20%).

Do not Refresh your browser while the process is going on to avoid multiple deductions from your account.

If nothing is displayed after 10 minutes, close the browser and restart.

Falsification of result will lead to automatic disqualification at any stage.

All candidates are expected to be at the screening centre an hour before their scheduled time with the above printouts and be decently dressed inline with the University of Ilorin Dress Code.

You are to also upload your O/Level results on the JAMB CAPS.
