UNILAG Inter/Intra Faculty Transfer Form 2025/2026 is Out [UPDATED]

 

The University of Lagos (UNILAG) has commenced the sale of its Inter/Intra Faculty Transfer Application Forms for the 2025/2026 Academic Session. The forms became available on Monday, July 21, 2025, and the application process will close on Friday, August 8, 2025.

Eligibility for Transfer

To be eligible for an Inter/Intra Faculty Transfer, candidates must meet the following conditions:

▪️ They must present their results showing their current Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA).

▪️ They must have obtained a CGPA of not less than 1.00.

▪️ They must possess the prerequisite Ordinary/Advanced Level subjects for admission into the intended program.

▪️ They must have successfully completed a minimum of 200 level by the end of the 2024/2025 academic session.

Application Procedure

Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria should follow these steps:

1. Read Guidelines: Candidates must first read the guidelines, including eligibility and permissible transfer areas, to ensure they qualify before obtaining the form.

2. Log on to Portal: Log on to their portal on the University website: www.unilag.edu.ng.

3. Navigate to Transfer Section: Click the "Inter/Intra Faculty" section of the Portal.

4. Complete Preliminary Form: Fill in the listed fields on the preliminary form.

5. Generate Payment Advice: Generate and print the "Inter/Intra Faculty Form Payment Advice" containing the Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) number.

6. Make Payment: Proceed to any commercial bank to pay the sum of Twenty Thousand Naira (₦20,000:00).

7. Print Transfer Form: Re-visit their portal on the University website to print the "Inter/Intra Faculty Form".

8. Attach Documents and Obtain Signatures:

   ▪️ Attach their O’Level OR A’Level results and their Statement of Result to the completed form.

   ▪️ Ensure the form is duly signed by the current Head of Department (H.O.D.) and Dean, as well as the proposed H.O.D. and Dean.

9. Submit Forms: Submit four copies of the completed form and attachments to Academic Affairs, 6th Floor, Senate House, UNILAG.

Permissible Areas of Transfer

UNILAG allows transfers between specific faculties. Here's a summary of the permissible transfers:

▪️ From College of Medicine, Faculty of Pharmacy TO: Faculty of Science, Faculty of Education (Science & Tech, Health Education, Human Kinetics), and Faculty of Social Science (Department of Psychology).

▪️ From Faculty of Law TO: Faculty of Arts and Faculty of Education (Arts & Social Science, Educational Foundation, and Educational Administration).

▪️ From Faculty of Engineering TO: Faculty of Business Administration (Actuarial Science), Faculty of Science, and Faculty of Education (Science & Technology).

▪️ From Faculty of Science TO: Faculty of Social Science (Department of Psychology), Faculty of Business Administration (Actuarial Science), Faculty of Education (Science & Technology), and Faculty of Science.

▪️ From Faculty of Arts TO: Faculty of Education (Arts & Social Science).

▪️ From Faculty of Social Sciences, Faculty of Business Administration TO: Faculty of Arts and Faculty of Education (Arts & Social Science, Educational Foundation, and Educational Administration).

▪️ From Faculty of Environmental Sciences TO: Faculty of Science and Faculty of Education (Science & Technology).
