NSUK Post UTME Form 2026/2027 [UPDATED]

The Nasarawa State University Keffi (NSUK) Post UTME Registration for 2026/2027 Academic Session is still on sale. Cut-off mark is 160 and above. Direct Entry Form is also available. The closing date has been extended till Wednesday, October 14, 2026.

The general public is hereby notified that registration for the 2026/2027 Post-UTME screening is scheduled to hold from 17th July, 2026 and ends on the Wednesday, October 14, 2026.

LATEST UPDATE: NSUK EXTENDS 2026/2027 POST-UTME SCREENING EXERCISE BY TWO WEEKS
The Management of Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK), has approved a two-week extension of the 2026/2027 Post-UTME Screening Exercise to provide additional opportunity for prospective candidates who are yet to complete the process.
The screening exercise, originally scheduled to end on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, has now been extended from Thursday, October 1, to Wednesday, October 14, 2026.
The extension is intended to accommodate candidates experiencing challenges relating to change of course or institution, NECO token issues, and other related challenges that may have prevented them from completing their application and screening processes within the initial period.
The University Management therefore urges all affected candidates and their parents or guardians to take full advantage of the extension and ensure that all necessary requirements are completed within the new deadline.
Candidates are advised to use the additional period to resolve any outstanding issues and complete their Post-UTME screening process before the expiration of the extended deadline.

A. CANDIDATES ELIGIBLE FOR NSUK POST UTME/DE SCREENING

To be eligible for the screening exercise, the candidate must have:

▪ Participated in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Direct Entry (DE) mode Examination (UTME) or applied through

▪ Have scored not less than 160- 200 marks.

▪ Have scored not less than the following score:

▪ Accounting - 170

▪ Business Administration - 170

▪ Civil Engineering - 180

▪ Chemical Engineering - 180

▪ Electrical Electronics Engineering - 180

▪ Community Health Science - 180

▪ Environmental Health Management - 170

▪ Health information Management - 170

▪ Nutrition & Dietetics - 170

▪ Law - 200

▪ Computer Science - 170

▪ Cyber Security - 170

▪ Microbiology - 170

▪ Science Laboratory Technology - 170

▪ All other programmes - 160

▪ Possess at least five (5) "O" level credit passes in relevant subjects including English and Mathematics at not more than two (2) sittings in WAEC, NECO, NABTEB and/or NBAIS and other relevant examination bodies

▪ Upload "O" Level Results on JAMB Profile at JAMB accredited CBT centres.

Note: Candidates MUST ensure that their online POST-UTME Screening is successful; as only candidates whose Screening is successful shall be considered for admission. Candidates should also note that, phone number used in filling this application MUST be that of the candidate.

▪ The candidate must have chosen Nasarawa State University as First Choice in the 2026 UTME.

▪ Possess a minimum of Lower Credit in National Diploma (ND) and Nasarawa State University Diploma, Merit in Nigeria Certificate of Education, (NCE), Eight (8) Points in IJMB for Direct Entry,

▪ Possess at least five (5) “O” level credit passes in relevant subjects including English and Mathematics at not more than two (2) sittings.

▪ However, candidates who did not choose Nasarawa State University as 1st Choice Institution are required to change to First Choice on the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Portal to qualify for the screening.

B. DIRECT ENTRY APPLICANTS

For Direct Entry Applicants, Candidates MUST:

▪ Possess a minimum of Lower Credit in National Diploma (ND) and Nasarawa State University Diploma, Merit in Nigeria Certificate of Education, (NCE), Eight (8) Points in IJMB for Direct Entry, V.

▪ Possess at least five (5) “O” level credit passes in relevant subjects including English and Mathematics at not more than two (2) sittings in WAEC, NECO, NABTEB and/or NBAIS and other relevant examination bodies

▪ Upload “O” Level Results on JAMB Profile at JAMB accredited CBT centres.

NOTE: Direct Entry candidates into Community Health, Environmental Health Science and Health Information Management MUST be licensed by their respective professional bodies and evidence of same must be uploaded during POST- UTME.

C. NSUK MODE OF SCREENING

The Nasawara State University Keffi (NSUK) Screening will be fully Online Screening Process. There will be no examination!

D. HOW TO APPLY FOR NSUK POST UTME OR DIRECT ENTRY SCREENING

Eligible candidates are required to pay a processing fee of (N2,000.00) Two thousand Naira only through the following steps:

▪ Visit the Nasarawa State University 2026 Post-UTME Screening Portal at www.ug.nsuk.edu.ng/application

▪ Create an account/Profile Set-up On creating Profile, fill the open forms as follows:

▪ Click application type and select 2026/2027 POST- UTME application

▪ Create an e-mail address and password

▪ Login with the e-mail and Password used in creating an account/profile

▪ Select payment for Screening through the available options

▪ Provide/input your scratch card for the result obtained (NECO/NABTEB/WAEC/NBAIS)

▪ Application completed.

▪ Screening in Progress

▪ Check back after 24 hours for result

▪ Print out the Application Summary/Payment Invoice.

E. UPLOAD OF “O” LEVEL AND “A” LEVEL RESULT ON JAMB PROFILE

UTME and Direct Entry candidates should note that in addition to the above Post-UTME Registration, they are equally required to visit JAMB accredited CBT centres to upload their “O”Level/”A” Level results on their JAMB profile.

F. NON-ACCEPTANCE OF ADMISSION ON CAPS AFTER (4) WEEKS

Candidates are advised to monitor their admission on their JAMB profile. There would be a grace period of four (4) weeks within which all approved admissions must be accepted by the candidates. Failure of such candidates to accept the admission, such admission will be deleted, and the candidate placed under the “refusal to accept category” punishable by ineligibility to be admitted again.

Candidate should also note that POST-UTME Screening is MANDATORY. Any candidate who FAILS to participate would not be considered for admission.

G. IMPORTANT NOTICE ON PROGRAMME CHANGE

Candidates are requested to note the following vital updates:

▪ Mass Communication has been unbundled, therefore candidates who initially selected Mass Communication MUST change their course to any of the following specific programmes: Journalism and Media Studies, Broadcasting, or Public Relations

▪ Nasarawa State University, Keffi DOES NOT offer Estate Management. Affected candidates are advised to effect change of course to either Building Technology or Architecture.

▪ Candidates who applied for Agriculture MUST change to any of the specialized options available as follows: Agricultural Economics and Extension, Animal Science, Agronomy, Aquaculture and Fisheries Management, or Forestry and Wildlife Management
