LAUTECH Predegree Admission Form Is Out – 2025/2026 [UPDATED]

 

Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso, is now accepting applications for its Pre-Degree Programme for the 2025/2026 academic session.

LAUTECH Pre-Degree Programme: Key Information

The LAUTECH Pre-Degree Programme aims to prepare candidates for admission into undergraduate degree programmes.

Duration of Programme:

▪️ The program runs for six (6) calendar months.

▪️ It includes an intensive, compulsory three (3) month ICT programme.

Admission Requirements:

▪️ Candidates should possess five O’ Level credit passes in WAEC, NECO, GCE, or NABTEB at not more than two sittings.

▪️ Required subjects include English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Agric. Science, Geography, Economics, Financial Accounting, Marketing, Commerce, Government, Literature in English, History, Civic Education, Yoruba, and CRS/IRS.

Method of Application

1. Prospective applicants should visit the LAUTECH website: https://apply.lautech.edu.ng.

2. Make a payment of Fifteen Thousand Naira (N15,000:00) only for the application form and online registration using an Interswitch-enabled Debit (ATM) Card.

3. Carefully complete and submit the online application form. Incomplete forms will not be processed.

Important Dates

▪️ Application Opens: Tuesday, July 1, 2025

▪️ Closing Date for Submission: Tuesday, October 7, 2025

▪️ Late completion/submission of the form won't be entertained.

▪️ Entrance Examination: Thursday, October 9, 2025, at 9:00 AM at the LAUTECH new ICT complex. The examination will be a Computer Based Test (CBT).

Acknowledgement Slip:

▪️ Each applicant must ensure they download and print the Acknowledgement Slip bearing their passport photograph as evidence of successful form submission.

Placement into Degree Programmes

Placement into degree programmes will be based on:

▪️ Performance at the end of the Pre-Degree programme.

▪️ Fulfillment of admission requirements.

▪️ Vacancy in the desired degree programme.

▪️ Participation in the ICT Intensive Training.

▪️ All intending applicants must obtain the 2026 UTME form, sit for the examination, and pass with the minimum cut-off mark determined by the University.

Each candidate is expected to make two (2) choices from the undergraduate programme options available in LAUTECH, choosing from two different faculties.
