Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA) has announced that online registration for its Post-UTME screening exercise for the 2025/2026 academic session is now open.

Registration Period

The registration for the Post-UTME screening starts on Friday, July 25, 2025, and will close on Friday, August 28, 2025. Late registration will not be accepted.

Eligibility Criteria

▪️ UTME Candidates: You must have taken the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and scored a minimum of 180 marks.

▪️ Direct Entry (DE) Candidates: You must have made FUTA your first-choice institution during your Direct Entry application process.

▪️ All Candidates (UTME & DE): You must possess at least five (5) credit passes in your O’level examinations, including English Language and Mathematics. These results can be from one or two sittings of WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, or any other recognized equivalent.

▪️ Age Requirement: All candidates must be at least 16 years old by September 30, 2025, to be eligible for admission.

How to Apply (Online)

The application process is entirely online through the university’s official website.

Candidates are required to:

▪️ Visit the university website and read the detailed information on the Post-UTME screening process.

▪️ Fill in and submit the Post-UTME Application Form on the website.

▪️ Print out a copy of the completed Registration Form after submission.

Important: Ensure your UTME Registration Number and full names are provided exactly as they appear on your JAMB slip at every stage of payment and registration to avoid application rejection.

Registration Procedure and Screening Fee

▪️ Payment: The screening fee is Two Thousand Naira (₦2,000) only.

▪️ Payment Method: This payment can be made at any bank through the Remita platform after you generate the payment code on the FUTA website.

▪️ Your registration will only be complete once you have paid the screening fee and submitted the online form. Failure to do so by the deadline will lead to disqualification.

Important Notes and Reminders

▪️ O’ Level Result Upload: Candidates must upload their O’ level examination results on JAMB CAPS and share the results with FUTA before or by Friday, August 28, 2025. Failure to do this will result in disqualification.

▪️ Mandatory Screening: Any candidate who does not participate in the Post-UTME screening exercise will not be considered for admission.

▪️ No Late Registration: The registration process will close strictly on August 28, 2025. No late registration or payment will be accepted.
