Applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the under listed Programmes in the Federal Polytechnic, Ukana, Akwa Ibom State.

All candidates are expected to possess five `O’ level credit passes at not more than two (2) sittings in SSCE/GCE/NECO/NABTEB in the relevant subjects. In addition, they must have scored a minimum of 100 in the 2026/2027 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

SCHOOL OF APPLIED SCIENCES

1. ND COMPUTER SCIENCE

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

▪ Five `O’ level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics and any two (2) of the following subjects: Economics, Geography, Further Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology/Agricultural Science and Computer Studies/Data Processing.

2. ND SCIENCE LABORATORY TECHNOLOGY

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

▪ Five `O’ level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and any one (1) of the following subjects: Biology/Agricultural Science/Health Science/Animal Husbandry.

3. ND STATISTICS

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

▪ Five `O’ level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics and any three (3) of the following subjects: Physics, Statistics, Chemistry, Further Mathematics, Economics, Geography and Biology/Agricultural Science.

SCHOOL OF MANAGEMENT STUDIES

1. ND ACCOUNTANCY

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

▪ Five `O’ level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Economics/Commerce/Principles of Accounts/Financial Accounting/Book Keeping/Civic Education, and any two (2) of the following subjects: Literature in English, Geography, Government/History and Biology/Agricultural Science.

2. ND BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION AND MANAGEMENT

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

▪ Five `O’ level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Economics/Commerce and any two (2) of the following subjects: Principles of Account/Book Keeping/Business Method/Marketing, Literature in English/Geography, Government/History/CRS/Statistics and Chemistry/Physics/Biology/Agricultural Science.

SCHOOL OF ENGINEERING TECHNOLOGY

1. ND CIVIL ENGINEERING TECHNOLOGY

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

▪ Five `O’ level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and any one (1) of the following subjects: Biology/Agricultural Science, Basic Electronics/Basic Electricity, Technical Drawings, Auto Mechanics, Metal Work, Wood Work, Further Mathematics, Geography and Economics/Commerce.

2. ND COMPUTER ENGINEERING

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

▪ Five `O’ level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and any one (1) of the following subjects: Biology/Agricultural Science, Basic Electronics/Basic Electricity, Auto Mechanics, Metal Work, Wood Work, Further Mathematics, Geography and Economics/Commerce.

3. ND ELECTRICAL/ELECTRONICS ENGINEERING TECHNOLOGY

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

▪ Five `O’ level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and any one (1) of the following subjects: Biology/Agricultural Science, Technical Drawing, Basic Electronics/Basic Electricity, Auto Mechanics, Metal Work, Wood Work, Further Mathematics, Geography and Economics/Commerce.

All qualified candidates are advised to log on to the JAMB Portal and change the previous first choice Institution to Federal Polytechnic, Ukana and Course in line with the available Courses in the Institution.

HOW TO APPLY FOR FEDERAL POLY UKANA POST UTME FORM

Candidates are advised to visit the Institution’s online portal: https://eportal.fedpolyukana.edu.ng/pages/application/putme/putmelanding to purchase the SCREENING FORM (N2000) and APPLY to be considered for admission.

All qualified candidates are advised to log on to the JAMB Portal and change the previous first choice Institution to Federal Polytechnic, Ukana and Course in line with the available Courses in the Institution.

Candidates will be expected to pay a screening fee of two thousand Naira (N2,000.00) only. All payments should be done at the Bursary Department.

A date for the Screening exercise will be communicated to candidates in due course.

FEDERAL POLYTECHNIC UKANA SCREENING SCHEDULE

Date: Monday, 18th August, 2026

Time: 10:00 am each day

Venue: The 350-Capacity Lecture Theatre, Main Campus

The screening exercise will be conducted for admission into the following accredited ND Programmes: Computer Science, Statistics, Science Laboratory Technology, Accountancy, Business Administration and Management, Civil Engineering Technology, Computer Engineering Technology and Electrical/Electronics Engineering Technology.

Candidates are to come along with the originals and photocopies of the following documents.

▪ WASCE/SSCE/GCE/NECO/NABTEB Certificate/Statement of Results

▪ Age Certificate/Declaration of Age

▪ JAMB Result Slip

▪ Certificate of Origin

▪ National Identification Number (NIN)

▪ Two (2) recent passport photographs.

▪ Screening fee of 2,000

Prospective candidates who are yet to effect change of Institution to Federal Polytechnic, Ukana as the first choice of Institution are strongly advised to do so. Such candidates should log on to JAMB Portal to effect the change.
