Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into both the Full-time/Part-time Higher National Diploma (HND) and National Diploma (ND) Part-time Programmes.

Admission Requirements

For National Diploma (ND) Part-time Programmes

▪️ Applicants must possess five (5) credit passes in GCE ‘O’ Level or SSCE or WAEC or NECO or NTC or NABTEB or its equivalent.

▪️ These credits must be obtained at not more than two sittings.

▪️ Required subjects include English Language and Mathematics, along with any three (3) subjects relevant to the area or discipline of choice.

For Higher National Diploma (HND) Programmes

▪️ Applicants must possess a National Diploma in the relevant discipline with a minimum of Lower Credit from Captain Elechi Amadi Polytechnic or any recognized Polytechnic.

▪️ Evidence of one year post National Diploma (ND) relevant Industrial Work Experience Scheme (SIWES) is required.

▪️ Applicants must also satisfy all requirements for admission into relevant ND programmes in the chosen department.

▪️ Applicants from other Polytechnics should ensure their academic transcripts are forwarded by their institutions early enough to the Registrar, Captain Elechi Amadi Polytechnic.

Method of Application

Applications for all programmes should be carried out online through the Polytechnic’s official application portal.

▪️ Step 1: Click on the Online Application link on the portal and select the appropriate form.

▪️ Step 2: Click on "proceed to create an account".

Application Fees

▪️ The Application Form costs Fourteen Thousand Naira (₦14,000.00) only.

▪️ All applicants are required to pay an additional Two Thousand Five Hundred Naira (₦2,500.00) for portal charges and Three Hundred Naira (₦300.00) for bank charges.

Payment and Submission Procedure

▪️ All interested candidates are required to apply online by logging into the Polytechnic’s portal: www.portharcourtpoly.edu.ng or the APPLICATION PORTAL to make e-payment.

▪️ Candidates can make e-payment by either generating a transaction ID for the fee online and then proceeding to any of the designated Banks (Zenith Bank, First Bank, UBA, Fidelity Bank, Sterling Bank, FCMB and Union Bank) to pay using the Pay Direct option, or by using an Interswitch-enabled Verve or Master Card.

▪️ All applicants are required to submit their Application Receipts to the Bursary Department for verification before proceeding to the Admissions Office for submission.

▪️ All completed online forms must be printed and submitted to the Admissions Office along with Confirmed Application Receipts and other supporting documents/credentials.
