BSU Post UTME Form 2026/2027 [UPDATED]

 Benue State University, BSU Post UTME Form for 2026/2027 Academic Session is still on sale. Cut-off mark is 160 and above. The closing date has been extended till Monday, 31st August, 2026. The Rev. Fr. Moses Orshio Adasu University, Makurdi (MOAUM) formerly Benue State University, Makurdi invites candidates who sat for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME)/DE, and chose (MOAUM) as their first choice of institution to register for the 2026/2027 admissions Post-UTME/DE Screening Exercise beginning from Monday, 13th July 2026 till Monday, 31st August, 2026.

LATEST UPDATE: EXTENSION OF REGISTRATION FOR POST-UTME/DE SCREENING EXERCISE FOR THE 2026/2027 ACADEMIC SESSION

This is to inform all candidates of the Rev. Fr. Moses Orshio Adasu University, Makurdi (MOAUM) that sat for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), and those of Direct Entry who chose MOAUM as their first choice of Institution that due to some exigencies, the Registration for the Post-UTME/DE Online Screening Exercise for the 2026/2027 Academic Session which was scheduled to end on Wednesday, 12th August, 2026 has been extended to Monday, 31st August, 2026.

REQUIREMENTS FOR REGISTRATION

▪ Candidates must have obtained a minimum admissible score of 150 in their UTME and chosen MOAUM as their first choice of institution or have changed from other institutions to the University as first choice;

▪ Candidates must have five (5) relevant O’ level credit passes (to include Mathematics and English Language) at NOT MORE THAN TWO (2) SITTINGS (UTME ONLY) and obtained a minimum admissible score of:

▪ 150 and above for programmes in the Faculty of Education;

▪ 160 and above for programmes in the Faculties of Administration and Management, Arts, Environmental Sciences, Science (except for B.Sc. Computer Science, B.Sc. Biochemistry and B.Sc. Microbiology), Social Sciences and Technology and Industrial Studies;

▪ 180 and above for programmes in the Faculties of Architecture, Communication and Media Studies as well as B.Sc. Computer Science;

▪ 200 and above for B.Sc. Microbiology, B.Sc. Human Anatomy, B.Sc. Human Physiology and B.Sc. Biochemistry;

▪ 220 and above for Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm. D), B.Sc. Medical Laboratory Science and B.Sc. Radiography and Radiation Science; and

▪ 240 and above for Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and Bachelor of Laws (LL.B).

PROCEDURE FOR THE REGISTRATION

▪ Visit the University Portal: www.portal.bsum.edu.ng;

▪ Access the “Admission” Menu: then click on “Post UTME/DE Verification”.

▪ Verify JAMB Registration: Enter your JAMB Registration Number and click “next”;

▪ Once your status is verified, click on “Proceed” to access E-Payment platform to initiate and make online payment of two thousand naira (N2000) only for the Post UTME screening.

▪ After payment, proceed with Registration by visiting: www.portal.bsum.edu.ng . Click on the “Admission” Menu then click “Continue Registration”.

▪ Fill out the biodata application form and print your completed application form.

IMPORTANT NOTES

▪ All candidates for both UTME/DE admissions MUST upload their O/A’ level results respectively on the JAMB portal (CAPS) while registering; failure which, they shall not be considered for the admissions.

▪ Candidates who applied for B.Sc. Mass Communication should change to other programmes in the Faculty of Communication and Media Studies;

▪ Similarly, candidates who applied for BN. Nursing should change to other science-based programmes, especially, in the Faculty of Science and the College of Health Sciences;

▪ Also, candidates who applied for Vocational and Technical Education should change to programmes in the Faculty of Technology and Industrial Studies, especially, Industrial Technology; and

▪ Registered candidates should regularly check the University portal for updates and further instructions/next steps.

Aspirants who did not initially choose BSU as their first choice but are willing to come to BSU can apply for change of institution through JAMB; provided they fall within the thresholds of programmes specified above.

CANDIDATES ELIGIBLE TO OBTAIN BSU POST UTME FORM

To qualify for the Benue State University (BSU) Post UTME Form, candidates must meet the following requirements:

▪ Scored at least 150 in the UTME and selected Benue State University as their first choice or changed from another institution to make BSU their first choice.

▪ Must have obtained five (5) O’ level credits, including Mathematics and English Language, in no more than two sittings.

HOW TO APPLY FOR BSU POST UTME / DIRECT ENTRY FORM

▪ Visit the University website: www.portal.bsum.edu.ng

▪ Access the post UTME/DE portal: Under “APPLICATIONS”, click on “POST UMTE/DE”

▪ Verify Jamb Registration: Enter your JAMB registration number and click “VERIFY”

▪ Proceed to payment: After verification, click “PROCEED” to access the e-payment platform

▪ Make Payment: Pay the screening charge of N2,000.00 (two thousand Naira only)

▪ Complete the Application: After successful payment, return to www.bsum.edu.ng and click on admission menu

▪ Select “continue UTME/DE Application”

▪ Fill out the application form and print your completed Application Form.

IMPORTANT NOTES

▪ It is mandatory that all candidates upload their O/A level results on JAMB portal: failure which, they shall not be considered for the admission

▪ Regularly check BSU website for updates and further instructions on admission processes/next step(s)

▪ Candidates who applied for Nursing Science should change to other options.

The registration exercise is to fast for one month from Monday, 13th July 2026 to Monday, 31st August, 2026.
