AE-FUNAI Post UTME Form 2026/2027 [UPDATED]

 FUNAI Post UTME Form 2026: The Alex Ekwueme Federal University, Ndufu-Alike, (AE-FUNAI) Post-UTME and Direct Entry Form for 2026/2027 Session are still on sale. The Closing Date has been extended till FRIDAY, AUGUST 14, 2026. Cut-off mark is 150-250 depending on the course. 

This is to inform the general public that registration for the 2026/2027 academic session Post-Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (Post-UTME)/Direct Entry Screening of Alex Ekwueme Federal University, Ndufu-Alike, (AE-FUNAI), Ebonyi State, shall commence on Monday 25th May, 2026 and end on Friday, 14th August, 2026.

NOTICE OF EXTENSION OF REGISTRATION FOR THE 2026/2027 ACADEMIC SESSION POST-UTME/DIRECT ENTRY SCREENING

The general public is hereby informed that the Vice-Chancellor has graciously approved the extension of the registration period for the 2026/2027 academic session Post-Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (POST-UTME)/Direct Entry Screening Exercise of Alex Ekwueme Federal University Ndufu-Alike (AE-FUNAI), Ebonyi State.

Consequently, the registration deadline, which was previously scheduled to end on Tuesday, 30th June, 2026, has been extended by two (2) weeks and will now close on Friday, 14th August, 2026.

Prospective candidates who are yet to register are hereby advised to take advantage of this extension to complete their registration before the new closing date.

Candidates who did not initially choose AE-FUNAI as their first-choice institution but wish to study in the University are also advised to visit any JAMB office or CBT Centre to effect the necessary Change of Institution/Course to AE-FUNAI and complete their registration within the extended period.

All other information, admission requirements, eligibility criteria, registration procedures, and guidelines contained in the earlier advertisement remain valid.

CANDIDATES ELIGIBLE TO APPLY FOR AE-FUNAI POST UTME FORM

▪ Candidates applying for Medicine and Surgery must score a minimum of 250 in UTME.

▪ Candidates applying for Nursing Science must score a minimum of 240 in UTME.

▪ Candidates who scored 250 for Medicine and Surgery, 240 for Nursing Science and 150 for other programmes but did not choose AE-FUNAI as their first-choice institution are eligible to apply for Post-UTME.

▪ Such candidates must effect Change of Institution/Course to AE-FUNAI on the JAMB Portal before Friday, 14th August, 2026.

▪ This also applies to Direct Entry (DE) candidates.

Interested candidates who must have scored 150 and above in the 2026 UTME and who made Alex Ekwueme Federal University, Ndufu-Alike, Ebonyi State their first choice institution in their application for admission in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) are qualified to apply. However, candidates are advised to check the minimum UTME screening score for the respective programmes listed below to guide their choices.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

▪ Prospective candidates who did not choose AE-FUNAI as their first choice institution but wish to study in AE-FUNAI are eligible to apply for PUTME screening. However, such candidates MUST effect Change of Institution/Course to AE-FUNAI on the JAMB Portal on or before Tuesday, 30th June, 2026. This is also applicable to Direct Entry (DE) candidates. Any change made after 30th June 2026 into the regulated programmes will not be entertained.

▪ Candidates for Medicine and Surgery, Nursing Science and Medical Science Laboratory programmes must have obtained their O’Level Results at one sitting only.

▪ Candidates should be guided by the UTME and O’level subject requirements as are available on the University website.

▪ Candidates should note that after the Cut Off Date of 30th June, 2026 the access portal for change of university/programme may no longer be available on JAMB CAPS for AE-FUNAI.

▪ Prospective candidates who may wish to register for the Post-UTME through the AE-FUNAI ICT Centres, should visit the:

▪ University CBT Centre at Zone A in the University Campus
OR
▪ Centre for Educational Services (JUPEB/Pre-Degree School), Aguogboriga Estate, Abakaliki.

▪ During registration, candidates are advised to use GSM numbers that are easily accessible to them. This is important for fast and easy communication.

▪ Candidates should note that at any point of the screening and admission exercise, if any false information is discovered, such candidate’s application would automatically be disqualified.

MODE OF PAYMENT AND REGISTRATION PROCEDURE

▪ Eligible candidates are required to pay a processing fee of N2,000 only.

▪ To register, follow the steps outlined below:

▪ Visit the University website: AE-FUNAI Official Website, go to ADMISSIONS at the top menu or QUICK LINKS.

▪ Click on 2026/2027 UTME Admission Screening OR 2026/2027 Direct Entry Admission Screening.

▪ Click on “Prospective Students”.

▪ Click on “Click to Apply” under 2026/2027 Admission Screening Application.

▪ Enter your “JAMB Registration Number”.

▪ Select your payment mode (Generate Remita Retrieval Reference Number).

▪ Proceed to any bank for your payment with your Remita number.

▪ Return to the Application page and enter your “JAMB Registration Number” again.

▪ Proceed with the completion of the form.

▪ Submit your application.

▪ Print out your acknowledgement slip.

▪ The screening mode for the 2026/2027 academic session PUTME shall be through the process of internal screening of candidates’ results.

▪ All candidates are requested to ensure that their O/Level and Direct Entry results are uploaded on JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS) on or before Tuesday, 30th June, 2026. Any PUTME application without O’level/A level result upload on JAMB CAPS will not be processed.
