Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the Institute of Health Sciences and Technology, of the University of Benin Teaching Hospital, Benin City for the 2025/2026 Academic Session in the following programmes.

Anaesthetic Training Programme Course Duration – 3 years
Dental Surgery Technician Course Duration – 3 years
Mortuary Science, Management and Funeral Services Course Duration – 1 year
Community Health Officers Course Duration – Special: B.Sc (1 year) – Regular (2 years)

ENTRY QUALIFICATIONS
Applicants should possess a minimum of five credit passes in not more than two (2) sittings in WASSCE, NECO or GCE O/L, which should include English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and Biology.
Health sciences in lieu of Biology is acceptable for Paramedics Technology and Environmental Health Technology.
National Diploma (ND) Candidates must have written the 2025 UTME (JAMB) Exams with expected minimum score of 150.
For candidates seeking admission into Biomedical Engineering Technology course, a pass in any of the following subjects will be an added advantage: woodworks, auto mechanics, basic electricity, technical drawing and fine art.
For Higher National Diploma (HND), candidates are to meet the following requirements:
A minimum of five credit passes in not more than two (2) sittings in WASSCE, NECO or GCE O/L, which should include English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and Biology.
National Diploma with a minimum of lower credit pass in the discipline obtained from NBTE accredited programme plus a minimum of one year post ND cognate work experience in the field of specialisation.
Must have obtained current Professional License.
