LASU Admission List 2025/2026 Is Out [UPDATED]

The Lagos State University (LASU) has officially released the provisional admission list for the 2025/2026 academic session. All candidates who participated in the admission screening exercise can now check their status.

The list of admitted candidates has been uploaded to both the JAMB CAPS Portal and the LASU School Portal.

How to Check Your Admission Status

1. Checking on the JAMB Admission Portal

Follow these steps to check your admission status on JAMB CAPS:

▪️ Go to the JAMB e-facility portal at https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/.

▪️ Log in to your profile using your username and password.

▪️ Scroll down to locate and click the ‘Check Admission Status’ tab.

▪️ Click on ‘Admission Status’ and then ‘Access my CAPS’.

▪️ On the JAMB CAPS page, click on the three-dotted lines at the top right corner of your browser and select ‘Desktop site’ to get the full view.

▪️ Click on the ‘Admission Status’ tab again.

▪️ You will see one of the following:

▪️ ‘CONGRATULATIONS…’: You have been offered admission. You must accept or reject the admission and wait for further instructions.

▪️ ‘Admission in progress’: Be patient, as your status will change in a few days or weeks. Check back later.

▪️ ‘NOT ADMITTED’: Don't give up. There is still a chance you might gain admission.

2. Checking on the LASU Admission Portal

The list has also been uploaded to the school's portal. To check:

▪️ Visit the LASU admission screening portal at services.lidc.lasu.edu.ng/admissionscreening/login.php.

▪️ Enter your JAMB registration number and your Surname in the provided spaces. Note: Use CAPITAL LETTERS for the alphabets in your registration number.

▪️ Click ‘Login’ to access your dashboard.

▪️ Locate the ‘Check admission status’ link and click on it to see your result.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

▪️ "I have been offered admission, can I pay my acceptance fee now?"

▪️ The acceptance fee payment has not yet started. An official announcement will be made once it begins.

▪️ "LASU has offered me admission, but I have not seen it on the JAMB Portal. Can I pay my acceptance fee?"

▪️ When the acceptance fee payment officially begins, you should be able to pay even if your name isn't on the JAMB Portal yet. It is expected that all names will be updated on the JAMB Portal before payment commences.
