General Admission Requirements

UTME Candidates

▪ Must have written the 2025 UTME
▪ Must possess five (5) credit passes including English and Mathematics in SSCE/NECO/NABTEB/GCE in not more than two sittings
▪ Awaiting result candidates are eligible
▪ Must participate in GVU screening
▪ Candidates who did not initially choose GVU can apply after doing a Change of Institution on JAMB portal

Direct Entry (DE) Candidates

▪ Must obtain the 2025 JAMB DE Form
▪ Acceptable qualifications:
▪ Minimum of Merit pass in NCE, JUPEB, or Credit in OND/HND/University Degree
▪ IJMB, JUPEB, or A’ Level
▪ Must also meet O’Level requirements as stated above

Conversion Entry

▪ Must meet basic O’Level requirements
▪ Must provide current university transcript

Transfer Entry

▪ Must complete Inter-University Transfer form
▪ Must pass GVU screening
▪ Must have JAMB admission letter from current university
▪ Transcript must be sent to GVU
▪ Must have a CGPA of 1.5 or above

▪ Pay ₦6,000 for the application form
▪ Generate Admission Registration PIN
▪ Fill the application form with a valid email and phone number
▪ A unique Application ID will be generated for login
▪ Use the Application ID to monitor admission status
