FUOYE Ranks Among Top Nigerian Universities, Shines in 2025 THE Impact Rankings

 



The Federal University Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE) has achieved a significant milestone, ranking among Top Nigerian Universities in the prestigious 2025 Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Rankings.

■ Only thirty-six (36) Nigerian Universities gained global recognition.

■ FUOYE placed globally in the 1501+ category.

■ The THE Impact Rankings assess universities based on their performance and contributions to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

FUOYE's Performance Across SDGs:

■ SDG 1 (No Poverty): Ranked within the 801–1000 band globally.

■ SDG 2 (Zero Hunger): Secured a spot between 401–600 globally, a significant improvement.

■ SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being): Placed in the 1501+ category.

■ SDG 7 (Affordable and Clean Energy): Ranked 1001+.

■ SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth): Ranked 1001+.

■ SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure): Placed within the 801–1000 range.

■ SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities): Placed within the 801–1000 range.

■ SDG 13 (Climate Action): Placed within the 801–1000 range.

■ SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals): Ranked 1001–1500, with strong scores in research output (61.2) and strategic relationships (74.4).
