The Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT) in Kaduna has announced the opening of applications for its Remedial Programme for the 2025/2026 academic session. This program, offered under the School of Basic and Remedial Studies, is designed for prospective students who may not have met the JAMB cut-off mark or need to address deficiencies in their O'level results.

Who Can Apply?

This programme is suitable for candidates who:

■ Did not meet the JAMB cut-off mark for regular admission.

■ Had applied to AFIT or any other institution but were not admitted.

■ Have some O'level credits but still need to pass English or Mathematics.

■ Note: Any missing subjects must be remedied before gaining full entry into a degree course.

Entry Requirements:

1. Social and Management Sciences:

■ Five credit passes at O'level (WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB) in no more than two sittings.

■ These must include English Language and Mathematics.

■ Two credits should be from Social Arts subjects, with the remaining from Social Sciences.

2. Engineering and Sciences:

■ Credits in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.

■ Also limited to two sittings from WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB.

What Happens After the Remedial Programme?

Students who successfully:

■ Pass the remedial examinations.

■ Meet the UTME cut-off mark.

How to Apply:

1. Visit the AFIT Remedial Application Portal.
2. Fill out the online form.
3. Pay the application fee of ₦10,000 using an Interswitch ATM card.
4. After completing the form, print it out. This printed form, along with your O'level result slip, will be required during registration.
