UNILAG Notice on 2026/2027 Post UTME Commencement [UPDATED]

 University of Lagos releases Important Notice on 2026/2027 Post-UTME Screening Exercise

The University of Lagos (UNILAG) online registration for the Post-UTME Screening Exercise for admission into all undergraduate programmes for the 2026/2027 Academic Session will commence from Monday, 15th June to Wednesday, 8th July, 2026.

ELIGIBLE CANDIDATES

▪ Candidates who chose University of Lagos (UNILAG) as their First Choice Institution in the 2026 UTME and scored 200 and above.

▪ Candidates must possess five (5) credit passes at one sitting in relevant O'Level subjects, including English Language and Mathematics.

▪ Only candidates who upload their O'Level results on both JAMB CAPS and the UNILAG Application Portal on or before Friday, 14th August, 2026 will be considered for admission.

▪ Candidates who will not be sixteen (16) years old by 30th September, 2026 are not eligible and should not apply.

▪ Candidates who do not participate in the Post-UTME Online Aptitude Test will not be considered for admission.

▪ Candidates must use their personal and active email addresses during registration, as all official communication will be sent through email.

▪ Former students of the University whose admissions were withdrawn due to poor academic performance or absence status may re-apply, provided the new admission is into a different programme from the former one.

▪ Any student previously expelled from the University is not eligible for fresh admission.

▪ Screening Fee: ₦2,000

▪ Application Fee: ₦3,500

▪ Total: ₦5,500

REGISTRATION PERIOD

▪ Opens: Monday, 15th June, 2026

▪ Closes: Wednesday, 8th July, 2026

HOW TO APPLY

▪ Visit the UNILAG Application Portal: applications.unilag.edu.ng

▪ Click "Start New Application".

▪ Under "Application Type", select "Undergraduate".

▪ Login using your UTME Registration Number as Username and your Surname (in lowercase) as Password.

▪ Generate and print the payment advice.

▪ Proceed to any commercial bank for payment or pay online.

▪ Return to the portal and complete the screening form.

▪ Print your Post-UTME Examination Pass.
