UNN Admission List 2025/2026 Is Out [PDF Available]

 The University of Nigeria Nsukka, UNN Admission List for 2025/2026 Session is out. The list is now available in PDF format

The University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) has released its First Batch (Merit) Admission List for the 2025/2026 Academic Session.

The admission list contains the names of candidates who participated in the UNN Post-UTME screening exercise and have been offered provisional admission into various undergraduate programmes of the university. The list is available in PDF format for download.

How to Check UNN Admission List

Prospective students can check their admission status through either of the following methods:

1. Check Admission Status On JAMB Portal 

To check your admission status on JAMB CAPS Portal and JAMB Admission Checking Portal, please follow the procedure below: 

▪ Visit https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/
▪ Login to your JAMB profile with your registered email and password
▪ Scroll down and click the Check Admission Status tab
▪ Then click on Admission Status,
▪ You should then click on check admission status or 
▪ Click on Access my CAPS. 
▪ Select the three-dotted lines (⋮) at the top right corner of your browser and tick Desktop site for better viewing
▪ Click on Admission Status
▪ You will either see admission in progress check back later, or NOT ADMITTED, or CONGRATULATIONS. .

Candidates who have been offered admission are to  proceed to JAMB CAPS and “ACCEPT” or “REJECT” to indicate acceptance or rejection of the admission offer.

NB : Clicking “REJECT” is an indication that the offer of admission has been rejected by candidates

Candidates who have been offered admission are to proceed to kindly accept / reject their admission by sending ACCEPT or REJECT to 55019 or 66019 using their registered phone number on JAMB portal. For those whose status is showing "Admission Still in Progress" or "Not Admitted", you are advised to keep checking as the status may change anytime soon

Note: If you see “Admission Still in Progress” or “Not Admitted”, keep checking. The portal updates regularly

2. Check Name on PDF 

Candidate should download the PDF file attached below to check their names.

Instructions to Candidates Offered Provisional Admission

Candidates offered provisional admission should complete the following steps:

▪ Visit the JAMB Portal and click “Accept Admission” on CAPS.
▪ Log on to the UNN website www.unn.edu.ng or UNN Portal unnportal.edu.ng.
▪ Enter your JAMB Registration Number to generate and download a Payment Invoice containing a Remitta Number.
▪ Proceed to any commercial bank (including UNN Microfinance Bank) to pay the ₦30,000.00 acceptance fee.
▪ Ensure the Invoice Number is entered correctly and obtain a Confirmation Slip with your Confirmation Number and Invoice Number.
▪ Revisit the UNN Portal, log in again with the details above, print your Admission Slip, and complete the Acceptance Form online.
▪ Continue with other registration steps and school fee payments as indicated on the UNN website.

Important Notice

The admission is provisional. If at any time (including final year) it is discovered that a candidate does not meet the minimum university or departmental entry requirements as prescribed by the UNN Senate and published in the JAMB Brochure, the admission will be withdrawn.
