 University of Uyo, UNIUYO Acceptance fee Payment Procedure for 2025/2026 Academic Session. 

The Management of the University of Uyo wishes to inform all fresh students admitted into the University of Uyo for the 2025/2026 academic session that the schedule for screening/registration of newly admitted students has been commenced.

Candidates admitted into the 2025/2026 session must pay a non-refundable acceptance fee of N30,000.

 The management of the University of Uyo (UNIUYO) has officially released an important notice to all newly admitted students and members of staff concerning the payment of the acceptance fee for the 2025/2026 academic session.

According to an internal memorandum issued from the Office of the Registrar and duly signed by Mrs. Blossom E. Okorie, the University management has approved the immediate opening of the UNIUYO online payment portal to enable all newly admitted students to make their acceptance fee payments with ease and convenience. The payment window will remain open until Thursday, October 30, 2025, after which the portal will be closed.

The statement explains that all newly admitted students are required to visit any commercial bank of their choice to generate a Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) code, which will be used to make the official payment. After successful payment, students are to print out the payment receipt and proceed to the Bursary Department of the University for authentication and verification of their e-payment receipt. This verification step is crucial to confirm that the student’s payment has been successfully received and recorded in the University’s database.

Furthermore, the Registrar emphasized that strict compliance with this directive is mandatory. Any student who fails to make the payment of the acceptance fee within the stipulated time frame will automatically forfeit their provisional admission into the University for the 2025/2026 academic session. Students are therefore strongly advised not to delay in completing the payment process to avoid losing their admission slots.

The University management also noted that detailed information regarding the screening exercise, registration procedures, and the official commencement of academic activities will be communicated to all concerned students in due course through the official University communication channels, including the UNIUYO website and departmental notice boards.

The notice concluded by encouraging all newly admitted students to adhere strictly to the payment guidelines, maintain proper documentation of their receipts, and ensure that they comply with all instructions to guarantee a smooth and successful admission process.

How to Pay the UNIUYO Acceptance Fee

Follow the step-by-step process below to complete your payment successfully:

1. Visit the official UNIUYO payment portal via https://uniuyo.edu.ng/eportals.

2. Click on “Pay Screening Fee / Acceptance”.

3. Enter your JAMB Registration Number in the provided field.

4. Follow the on-screen instructions to generate a Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR).

5. Proceed to any commercial bank or use online banking to make your payment.

6. After successful payment, print your e-payment receipt.

7. Proceed to the University Bursary Department for authentication and verification of your payment receipt.

After payment, the newly admitted students are requested to proceed to their respective Faculties with a copy of e-payment printout, original/photocopies of other relevant credentials for screening as part of activities marking the commencement of the 2025/2026 academic year. Other activities of the academic calendar remain as scheduled.
