SSU Post UTME Form 2025/2026 Is Out [UPDATED]

 

The Sokoto State University (SSU) has released its online screening form for the 2025/2026 academic session. This guide summarizes the key information for all candidates who chose SSU as their first choice institution during their UTME or Direct Entry (DE) registration.

Eligibility Requirements

▪ Must have chosen SSU as their first choice.

▪ Must have scored at least 150 in the 2025 UTME.

▪ Must have a minimum of five credit passes in O’level subjects (WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB), including English Language and Mathematics, obtained in no more than two sittings.

For Direct Entry (DE) Candidates:

▪ Must have chosen SSU as their first choice.

▪ Must possess a relevant A’level qualification such as a Diploma, NCE, IJMB, or other recognized A’level results.

▪ Must also meet the same O'level requirements as UTME candidates.

Note: Both UTME and DE candidates are required to have already uploaded their O’level results to the JAMB CAPS portal.

Screening Dates & Fee

▪ Screening Period: Monday, 11th August 2025 to Friday, 10th October 2025.

▪ Screening Fee: ₦2,000 (excluding bank charges).

Step-by-Step Screening Procedure

  1. Visit the Portal: Go to the official SSU website and find the admissions portal.

  2. Log In: Use your JAMB registration number as both your username and password for the first login.

  3. Update Contact Info: Click 'Update Data' to enter your current phone number and a valid email address.

  4. Pay the Fee: Generate a payment invoice from the portal. You can either take this invoice to any commercial bank or pay instantly online using your ATM card.

  5. Update Records: After payment, log in again to fill in your personal details and upload all your academic records (O'level and A'level results).

  6. Print Slips: Once the process is complete, print out your acknowledgement slip and your payment receipt.

Important Notes

▪ The screening process is entirely online. There will be no physical Post-UTME examination.

▪ Only candidates who complete the online screening process will be considered for admission.

▪ Double-check all the information you provide, as false details may lead to disqualification.

▪ Do not wait until the last minute to start the application to avoid potential internet or submission errors.
